It seems pretty obvious to me that WWE needs to overhaul how they do the WWE Hall of Fame. For me, staying up to 4 AM to watch Triple H's speech is way too much. They need to change it, so what should they do?
The most radical thing they could do is probably what won't do, but I'd actually suggest they honor one or two Hall of Famers before each of the "Big Five" pay-per-view events — Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Money in the Bank, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. While Wrestlemania and Summerslam are two night events, the others aren't, so you always just could slide inductions there the night before PPVs. That would allow the company to honor new inductees all year long. It would also allow WWE to creatively tailor each induction to fit the vibe of that PPV weekend. could do different style inductions, have multiple people speak on someone's career, or just have someone give the HHH style monolouge. I know it's a radical idea but if WWE moved towards that way, every honoree could receive their rightful moment in the spotlight, without being treated like a warm-up act before the real show. Fans would get to focus on celebrating a few careers, not juggling tributes, inside jokes, and time constraints across multiple names. It could also allow them to provide a longer presentation for Legacy inductees and give those weekends another destination event for fans to attend. I don't expect WWE to go this route, but even if they did inductions over two or three "smaller" weekends, that would be fine with me.
How cool was it that WWE/HHH timed Zelina's big title win for the same night Aleister returned? That had to be such an awesome moment for them to share. Creative team has had some hiccups lately but I personally think they did a hell of a job with this decison, both on and off screen.
I would agree. It had to have been a nice night for their family.
Why didn't they have Ric Flair there watching John Cena's coronation at 17x Champion?
Flair has stated he is signed with AEW. Thus, he can't appear.
Are you surprised TNA is pushing Ryan Nemeth despite the whiny way he's come across in his lawsuit against AEW, etc.?
No. No matter how you or anyone else feels about Nemeth's lawsuit, the only thing that should dictate his push in TNA is what their creative team believes they can get out of him. If they see something in him and Nemeth, in turn, can deliver that, they should push him.
Do you think WWE not pushing Wargames in the on sale for Survivor Series means they have retired that concept?
No, I think that's a case of you seeing 1+1 and getting 5,000. WWE doesn't have to market Wargames this far in advance for a November show. They can wait for let creative dictate if/when it's announced. It's way too early to assume anything, especially since they can change their plans at any time.
