ACTION Wrestling “SE7EN”
4/25/25 Tyrone, GA
It’s ACTION’s seventh birthday! We open with a recap of the reign of terror that has been the partnership of Tim Bosby with Dylan Hales at his side. From attacking Big Dave and practically giving the TWE championship straight to Erron Wade. To walking out of the Scenic City Rumble. To invading and pummeling the roster of New South Pro Wrestling. Scott Hensley is your announcer. Mose and Shiny Shoes are at the broadcast booth. Happy Birthday ACTION….you have a lot of drama ln your plate right now.
Dylan Hales & Tim Bosby hit the ring first, as the ACTION championship is due to be defended tonight…but it’s not yet known against WHO. “Dylan sucks” chants the crowd. Dylan seems to be wishing ACTION a heartfelt congratulations for the seven years of existence. He’s proud of the stars HE created in that time. The crowd is starting to chant for CEO Matt Griffin to come out and deal with this. Dylan Hales has a surprise in his backpack….it’s a BRAND NEW ACTION CHAMPIONSHIP BELT…and it’s a SPINNER. It says “Hard Truths”. We’re in a new timeline. The hard truth is that the old ACTION belt is retired and none of our heroes will ever hold it again. And if Dylan has his way, no one else will hold THIS belt either.
Match 1: Slim J vs Alan Angels
This is a VERY cool, very ACTION opener. Alan is an ACTION stalwart, while Slim J showed on out ACTION’s most famous show “DEAN~!!!” Against Adam Priest (Which there’s a whole other set of news about recently!). Angels looks to slow J down quickly, posting him and hitting a backstabber early. Slim J tries a head scissor flip but Angels just flapjacks him into the mat. Slim J with a reversal and flies off the corner and kicks Alan in the back of the head! Slim J’s arms are clearly hurting but he’s throwing some heavy lariats. A head kick isn’t enough. Angels with a German but Slim J pops right up to throw hands! Angels with a tornado into a head scissor stretch! Slim J refuses to tap and makes it to the rope! Angels tries to capitalize on a missed cross body but Slim J flips a butterfly back into a bridging pin and gets the three!!! What an upset in an awesome contest! The crowd chanting Please Come Back!
Match 2: Jamesen Shook vs Kasey Owens vs Bobby Flaco vs Grayson Pierce
A classic scramble from some of ACTION’s fastest workers! This is just motion from the moment go. Everyone is getting their moment to shine in this contest. Matt Sells comes out and joins the commentary team, kicking Shiny Shoes off the call for this one. He’s not booked tonight but felt he NEEDED to be a part of the show in some way. Kasey with a cool double submission on Pierce and Shook but Bobby breaks that up. The chaos continues, ending when Kasey Owens headbutts Bobby out of the way and steals a pin on Piece, who’d just eaten a DVD and a double stomp from Flaco and Shook. Cool Fatal 4-way!
Suge D and The Wall are out here to join Owens and celebrate his victory. Matt Sells wants nothing to do with them. The Good Hand DOES have a title defense to do. I’d say we’re about to get it! BUT FIRST: Suge has some words. They were booked to face the Infantry tonight…but it seems their opponents went AWOL? But they still want to get a W tonight….so they offer a title shot to Top Team because “we’re going to show you that YOUR Top is OUR Basement”. Let’s goooooo!
Match 3: The Good Hand (Suge D and The Wall Tyler Stevens)(c) vs Top Team (Jay Lucas and Terry Yaki) (for the ACTION Tag Team Championships)
Suge tries to wear Terry Yaki down early but this kid has a lot of snap and pop to him. Suge may be the journeyman but a well-oiled tag team will still keep you on your back and looking for mercy. D tags Lucas with a hard right and staggers him back, letting him tag Wall with the order “DEAL WITH HIM”. Dealing with him includes eating a top rope block buster. Terry tries to set himself up top but Suge shoves him down. Kasey Owens is making his presence felt on the outside too. Classic Good Hand shenanigans. Give delay vertical suplex to Jay, made worse by the sheer height of the Wall. Lucas escapes, hot tag to Yaki! Suge is isolated and we might have new tag champs?!? Kasey Owens gets Suge’s foot on the rope at the last moment. No!!!! Lucas trying to keep Suge isolated, he goes for a suplex into the ring from the apron but here’s Kasey Owens again, he pulls the leg of Lucas and holds it down as Suge crossbodies down on him for the three! Robbery (of the best kind)! Good Hand UP.
Suge wants more appreciation so he grabs the mic and demands to be announced at the winners again. He lets the crowd give Top Team their flowers though. But the Good Hand is 2 out of 3 for the night. They have one more match to go…and it’s NOW. This is interesting since there definitely felt like some dissension between Kane and the Good Hand recently.
Match 4: Joe Black vs Alex Kane (w/ the Good Hand)
Regardless of the state of the Good Hand, Joe Black might as well be in a handicap meat match right now. Suge grabs a spot on commentary and has some words back and forth with Matt Sells. Back in the ring, Joe Black is forcing the former ACTION champion into his world. Kasey Owens catches Joe Black’s foot and trips him up. Alex Kane does NOT like this. Kane landing some big blows and showing Black why he WAS the champ here for a time. Matt Sells abandons commentary to go watch football….or maybe he’s just had enough of looking at The Good Hand. Kane starting to throw those big suplexes…and Joe Black fires right back against the Suplex Assassin! Kane with the X Plex but Joe kicks out! Kane gets backhanded….backstabber off the corner! Kane kicks out! Kane sends Joe Black to Suplex Island and he goes limp. “You better not kick out!” Yells Suge…..and Joe Black kicks out at 2.9999! Kane is clearly upset at Suge. Kane wants a superplex….Joe with a powerbomb! A German! Lariat! The Good Hand pull the ref out! The ref throws Suge out of the building finally! But he doesn’t throw out Kasey and Wall? Joe Black chasing down Owens….and walking into a huge tackle by the Wall! The ref is still dealing with Suge. Alex Kane stands up to his teammates and ejects them himself! Joe Black is back up….and Kane spears him! Black with the kick out again! Crowd applauding this effort from both men. Kane with another spear….Joe sends him into the post! Joe Black with a spear of his own and gets the three!!!
Suge and the Good Hand are upset at ringside while Alex Kane and Joe Black shake hands in respect back inside. Suge in Kane’s face about this. That doesn’t seem wise…don’t put your finger in Kane’s face. The crowd chants for Alex to knock him out. Kane says he can get the job done without them. Suge grabs the mic and tries to put a nice spin on this…but Kane throws both Owens AND Wall. Suge hugs Kane and tries to calm this down……Kane goes for a belly to belly….Suge blasts him with the mic! The rest of the Good Hand swarm back in on him! “You act like a rabid dog, we put you down like one”. They grab a steel chair and pillmanize the arm. Joe Black and Top Team run out to break this up but the damage is done!
Match 5: Manders(c) vs Darian Bengston (for the WxW World Championship)
Bengston is back from injury and this is the first of two title matches he has this weekend (the other to potentially recapture his long held TWE championship…I have a feeling the fix is in there though). Manders had a grueling week in Las Vegas and this marks the 4th defense in his 21 day WxW reign. Manders trying to overpower Darien early. Benston has his wrist taped up heavy and he’s clearly favoring it. Mander drops a shot on it and Bengston has to take a lap. This is not the butter smooth Bengston we’re used to. He is a little more hesitant and seems unwilling to go all out….but he dos know that Manders biggest weapon is that lariat arm….so he focuses on that limb hard. They are both trying for the finish here….trading chops even through the pain. Bengston baits Manders into wrenching the arm. Double clothesline drops them both as the crowd chants “this is awesome!”. Manders getting dirty, biting at Darien’s injured wrist! He tries a stampede off the top….Bengston reversed to a ddt. Divorce Court is sunk in! Manders gets a foot to the rope but his elbow is hurting bad. Bengston tries to show Manders what a real lariat is but gets slammed and eats a torpedo dive from an angry cowboy. Manders measures him…….Bengston ducks and hits a lariat of his own! He wraps up the elbows…Manders fights free. He flips Bengston into the air and hits a European uppercut to the lower back as he comes crashing down! Bengston has no air and can’t kick out. What a finish in a certified banger!
Manders on the mic puts Bengston over huge and says they can run this back in Germany any time. They may have tried to break each other for the last 15-20 min but the respect is THERE.
Time for the time event. WHO will be challenging for the ACTION Championship. They take plenty of time to taunt the crowd. Dylan says it doesn’t matter who the challenger is but it can’t be anyone Bosby already beat and it can’t be a former ACTION champion.
Wait…..Is that Cabana Man Dan?!? He’s leading a crew from New South Pro Wrestling to ringside. Chaos is erupting at ringside as Dylan Hales says Bobby’s dominance will be scorched earth across the Southeast……DING. THE CHALLENGER IS FORMER IWTV CHAMPION KRULE!!!! He’s not waiting till the Scenic City Invitational! New South and ACTION wrestlers are still fighting at ringside!
Main Event: Tim Bosby (w/Dylan Hales)(c) vs Krule (for the ACTION Championship)
Is there a bell? Krule throws Bosby into one side of the chaos. He suicide dives into the other side! Krule pummels on the apron and around the building. The ACTION champ was NOT ready for this. We still don’t have a bell! Bosy bounces him off the merch tables and tris to bury the monster under heavy gym mats. No. Krule is back up and stalks Bosby into the ring. The match has officially started! To Bosby’s credit, he IS strong enough to pick up and toss Krule around. But Krule is resilient and keeps getting up over and over. Bosby goes for the F5….Krule hits Scorched Earth! The three is a lock…..Dylan Hales pulls the ref out and knocks him out! Matt Griffin reprimands Hales for this as a new ref gets out there! Krule is back to his feet! Champ and challenger are trading bombs! The ref knocked out! Krule hits the chokebreaker but Bosby pops up with the F5! Bosby has the visual pitfall! Matt Griffin is trying to get controll. New South Champ and former challenger Big Dave hits the ring and spears Bosby! He tries for a belt shot with the New South big belt! He hits Krule. Matt Griffin gets in Dave’s face….Dave levels our CEO with a lariat. Krule with the situp! Hales tries to encourage Krule but winds up in the monster’s spotlight. Krule choke slams Bosby! The ref with the slow count saves Bosby who kicks out at what COULD have been five. Krule looking to chokeslam Bosby into the front row….Bosby muscles Krule onto his shoulders……F5 off the corner!!! Krule stays down for the three! The crowd booing this but damn, what a chaotic finish to this show!
