Do you think we’ll get Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank and Backlash?
I never even considered it so with that said, no I don’t.
Does being live on the west coast affect rating a lot? I saw AEW dropped from 624 to 521 thousand but is the drop more due to being live on west coast or fact it was a weak episode?
It can, for sure. People that are used to watching at 8 have to remember to record the show in order to see it. With that said, it wasn’t a great episode and The Young Bucks returned. They have not been good for ratings so that could have had something to do with it as well.
So The Rock tells us all at the Elimination Chamber post show that the reason he did the Netflix show, buddying up to Cody, was that he was working us and knew the Cena heel turn was in play. Now The Rock tells us this week that he was contacted for Elimination Chamber after the Netflix show, and only then was the Cena turn mentioned. Is anyone able to shut him up? Telling another wrestling journo it's all a work isn't helping either. He's absolutely ruined the buildup to Mania this year, he's now exposing behind the scenes talks to suit his own narrative. Can someone in WWE shut him up?
He has a ton of power. He won’t be shut up. But, he didn’t book the rest of the Mania card. That falls on HHH.
Did you miss Rock at WM 41?
I did not. I wish I would have missed him at Elimination Chamber.
With the video circulating of the Rock and his lame reasoning about the storyline of Cody/Cena, can it be said that he doesn't have the most astute wrestling mind? His nickname is the " Final Boss ". Applying a video game analogy: it's the final stage in a game to where you face the most powerful enemy, and defeating them ultimately wins the whole thing. Wouldn't it be a built in that someone has to beat him, one on one? And that someone should have been Cody at some point. If he's not going to be around, where does Cody get his pound of flesh and Rock get his comeuppance? And if they decide to do the match, isn't it already too late? Wouldn't he know or have at least considered everything I just said? He's in the business, I'm just a dumb fan.
The Rock stuff made no sense, for sure, but it was no different than last year when he mucked everything up. I think he understands the wrestling business, he is just more concerned with the Rock business.
