Here are a couple observations getting to the venue in comparison to LA two years ago.
The crowd is overwhelmingly white men between 25-45. Far fewer families and kids this time around, presumably due to pricing and maybe Easter holiday.
70+% of people are wearing WWE merchandise and about 1 in every 4-5 guys have wwe replica belts. The most popular shirts appear to be Wrestlemania commemorative shirts “I Was There”, with tons of Jey Uso, John Cena, and CM Punk shirts.
With the shortage of kids there is a noticeable lack of Cody Rhodes merch.
With 30 minutes to go before the show starts, there is still a lack of noticeable buzz in the crowd. Occasional scattered woo’s, I heard a small group of guys Yeet’ing on the walk to the stadium. Otherwise it’s oddly quiet for this close to game time.
