TONY KHAN BOOKING, HINCHCLIFFE THE SCUMBAG, AEW’S LOOOOOOOONG PPVS AND MORE

So whose genius idea was it to have someone like Tony Hinchcliffe on commentary for Raw? Did they not see his little routine on Puerto Rico last fall?

WWE will embrace celebrities, even F list like that clown, especially if they have a tie-in to Netflix.  To me, he is a talentless hack.  Anyone can say nasty things.  Real comedians are actually funny and after what he said about Big E, if he got hit by a bus tomorrow the world would be a better place.  But not for nothing, TKO also employs Dana White, who is about as right wing as you can get.  TKO doesn’t care about red or blue, they care about green.

I know you’re not the biggest fan of AEW, but are there ANY aspects of the programming that you legitimately enjoy or like? Any gimmicks or performers or matches or storylines that, at the very least, pique your interest?

There are a lot of talented people there and there are some that I like.  I don’t want to list them in case I leave someone out.  It’s just a shame that they work for one of the worst bookers of all time.  If I can’t invest in someone, it doesn’t matter to me how many great moves they do.

Being that FTR has turned on Cope and they have teased distention in the Patriarchy, what are the chances we see FTR vs Cope and Christian Cage?

As I said above, given what a terrible booker Tony is I fully expect to see that, with little logical explanation as to why.

Is there a reason that Tony feels every PPV has to go 4-5 hours long? What incentive do I have living in east coast to buy this thing knowing it's starting at 8 and won't be done till around 1230 maybe 1 am on a Sunday night when I and many other work at 7 or 8 am Monday morning?

By his own admission Tony is a sicko that loves wrestling.  To him, if 3 hours is good, 4 hours is better.  I respect that in his mind he feels he is delivering value for the price point that fans pay.  But I see your side too, it’s hard to stay up that late when work calls the next day.

Do you think Tony Khan secretly loved being referenced in the Cena-Cody promo battle on Raw, even if it was a little shady? I think a lifelong mega wrestling fan like Tony loved every second of being referenced for the WM41 main event build. I know I would! What say you?

I could see Tony being excited and ticked off at the same time.  He’s a complicated fella.
