NXT Orlando 12/14/24
NXT held an NXT Live Event in Orlando, FL at the Engelwood Neighborhood Center
Match 1) Uriah Conners and Kale Dixon defeated Tyriek Igwe and Tyson DuPont when Uriah got backslide on Tyson.
Early into the match, there was a snap with something with the ring breaking with the turnbuckle poles shifting inward. Both teams were able to finish the match well despite this happening.
There was an extended break to repair the ring
During the break, Ethan Page came out at one point to cut a promo during it about what has been going on with his bad luck lately in NXT. The process ended up taking about 35-40 minutes but the audience applauded the ring crew for their efforts with fixing it.
Match 2) Dani Palmer defeated Kali Armstrong via frog splash.
Match 3) Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura defeated No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey and Myles Borne) after a Lariat from Josh to Myles and a Diving Splash from Yoshiki to Myles for the win.
Match 4) Cora Jade defeated Kelani Jordan after an eye rake behind the referee’s back and a double arm DDT.
Match 5) NXT Women’s North American Championship Stephanie Vaquer defeated Fallon Henley (c) with Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx via disqualification. Jacy ran in to attack Stephanie when Stephanie went for her Package Neckbreaker. During the match both Jazmyn and Jacy caused distractions at times. All three beat down Stephanie after until Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley made the save. Gigi challenged Jacy and Jazmyn to ta tag match. Ava came out and made it official.
Match 6) Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley with Stephanie Vaquer defeated Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx) with Fallon Henley. During the match Fallon and Stephanie brawled to the back. Tatum pinned Jazmyn with the Psycho Trap.
Match 7) Dante Chen defeated Ethan Page via a school boy pin. Ethan Page continued to look more unkempt than he normally does continuing his current issues seen on NXT recently.
Match 8) Giulia defeated Nikkita Lyons via running knee.
Match 9) The Family (Tony D’Angelo, Channing Lorenzo, and Luca Crusifino) with Adrianna Rizzo defeated Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang) via Spinebuster by Tony on Mark Coffey.
Match 10) NXT Women’s Championship Roxanne Perez (c) with Cora Jade defeated Wren Sinclair with Charlie Dempsey. Cora Jade tried to give Roxanne the Women’s Championship as a weapon to use. Kelani Jordan came to ringside to fight Cora off. While the referee was distracted, Roxanne hit Wren with the championship and covered Wren for the win.
Match 11) NXT Champion Trick Williams & Je’Von Evans defeated Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen with Niko Vance when Trick pinned Brooks following a Book End.
Oba Femi came to the ring. He told Trick Williams to enjoy his Christmas as NXT Champion because at New Year’s Evil that title is coming to him. Oba left the ring. Trick said that New Year’s Evil, he will whoop that trick. Oba left. Je’Von celebrated his win with Trick and told everyone to get home safe and said We Are NXT to close the night while Trick said that’s all it is and that’s all it’s going to be to close the show.
