Former ECW World Champion Tommy Dreamer will challenge Thom Latimer for the NWA Championship, the belt once held by his mentor Terry Funk as part of the debut Awesome Championship Wrestling event in Poughkeepsie, NY at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center on 1/4/25.
Also announced thus far for the promotion's debut event:
*TNA Champion Nic Nemeth vs. Matt Riddle for the first time ever.
*NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Alex Taylor vs. GKM vs. REAL1 fka Enzo Amore.
*Kelly Madan vs Tiara James.
*Also appearing are Little Guido, Crowbar, Dan Maff, Richard Holliday and more.
There will be a fan festival prior to the event starting at 5:30 PM.
