Rey Fenix commented for the first time publicly in some time, responding to a fan who ripped AEW for not using Fenix even though he was under contract to the promotion.
In response to the fan, Fenix tweeted, “I will have my chance to speak the truth.” He then followed up, writing, "No one stays in a place where they received inhumane treatment.”

Fenix's brother Penta recently exited the promotion contractually.
