1 - Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi vs. Shoma Kato and Katsuya Murashima
Hiromu forces Kato to tap out to a Boston Crab.
2 - Ryusuke Taguchi, Alex Zayne, YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto vs. Chase Owens, KENTA, SANADA and Gabe Kidd
KENTA hits a low blow on Taguchi and rolls him up for a cradle pin.
Kenoh from Pro Wrestling NOAH makes his way to the ring to confront KENTA. Kenoh challenges KENTA to a match at NOAH's 25th Anniversary Special on January 1, 2025 at the Nippon Budokan. (Also, new WWE U.S. Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura will face Ulka Sasaki at this NOAH event.)
KENTA accepts the challenge.
3 - BUSHI, Yota Tsuji and Shingo Takagi vs. Jakob Austin Young, Great O-Khan and Jeff Cobb
HENARE is injured and he and O-Khan are now out of the tournament.
Takagi hits a Pumping Bomber and Made in Japan on Young and gets the pin.
4 - Tiger Mask, Tomoaki Honma and Shota Umino vs. Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa and Zack Sabre Jr.
Oiwa pins Tiger Mask after hitting The Grip.
They replayed a video of Brody King's challenge to David Finlay for Wrestle Dynasty.
Gedo is in the ring and calls David Finlay. Finlay cuts a promo on King and accepts the challenge.
Gedo cuts a promo to hype the match between King and Finlay.
These matches that are being added at the last minute, without the build up, does not look good. This is how AEW books, but this makes New Japan look disorganized.
World Tag League 2024 B Block Matches:
They made an announcement that due to HENARE's injury, United Empire will have to vacate the IWGP Tag Team Titles. Also the IWGP Tag Team Championship match between United Empire and The Young Bucks is canceled.
I understand that there are a lot of moving parts and Wrestle Dynasty involves several companies. However, this looks like a disorganized mess. Wrestle Kingdom looks to be a solid event. Wrestle Dynasty looks like the complete opposite.
5 - TAKA Michinoku and Taichi vs. Tome Filip and Stevie Filip
The Filips hit the Mother of All Bombs on TAKA and get the pin.
Natural Classics have 4 points.
Just 4 Guys have 2 points.
Both teams are eliminated.
6 - Boltin Oleg and Toru Yano vs. Shane Haste and Mikey Nichols
Oleg hit a Kamikaze on Haste and gets the pin.
Yano and Oleg have 10 points.
TMDK have 6 points.
7 - Jado and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Ren Narita and EVIL
EVIL traps Tanahashi in the Darkness Scorpion. Tanahashi held on until he had to tap out.
House of Torture have 10 points.
Tanahashi and Jado have 4 points.
Narita hits the Double Cross on Tanahashi. EVIL hits Everything is Evil on Tanahashi, then cuts a promo.
Due to the forfeiture of United Empire, there will be a 3 way match for the final of B Block, with the top three teams with 10 points.
8 - Three way Match for the Winner of B Block: Toru Yano and Boltin Oleg vs. EVIL and Ren Narita vs. Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi
House of Torture handcuffs Oleg and Yano to the guardrail. They handcuff Naito to the ringpost. EVIL and Narita beat down Hiromu. BUSHI comes to the ring and attacks Togo and gets the handcuff keys. BUSHI unlocks Naito. The referees unlock Oleg and Yano. Chaotic match. Naito and Hiromu handcuff Narita and EVIL to the posts. LIJ battle Yano and Oleg. Oleg bits a Kamikaze on Hiromu. Two count. Oleg hits an F5. Oleg goes for another Kamikaze, but Naito saves Hiromu. Naito sets up for a Tornado DDT, but Naito rolls Oleg into a cradle for the pin.
Los Ingobernales de Japon win the B Block.
Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi will now face SANADA and Gabe Kidd in the World Tag League 2024 Finals on 12/08/24.
Naito addresses the crowd. Kidd and SANADA come to the ring. Kidd says he will destroy them and take the World Tag League 2024 from them.
