Rob Schamberger's latest AEW painting is Brody King.
Schamberger commented, "As someone who likes to paint rad things, Konosuke Takeshita’s oni mask definitely gave me something rad to paint. It’s a traditional design that I’ve long been enamored with and it’s cool to incorporate it here. I used some muted earthy warm colors for the mask and some almost neon colors for Takeshita himself to create some dichotomy between the two subjects, but then used some Payne’s Gray for the deeper shadows on both to unify the composition. I think it gives it a nice ethereal feeling."
