Pre-Show Match: Junie Underwood vs Steven “Sunset” Garcia
Really good energy to this opener. Underwood is flying everywhere and frustrating Garcia. Sunset resorts to some hard cheap(ish) shots to take the lead. Fireman’s carry neckbreaker almost ends things. Underwood with an enziguri to the back of the head and a dropkick into the tree of woe! Garcia comes back one more time but Underwood hits a cradle shock for the win. Good stuff.
Match 1: Post Game (Vinny Tolatta & Mike Walker w/ Hellfire McGuire) vs Hardwork Heroes (Barnaby Combs vs Aaron Cademia) vs Waves and Curls (Traevon Jordan & Jaelyn Brandyn) (DG Dillinger Classic Finals for the Focus Pro Tag Team Championships)
Spiked Punch was supposed to be in this mix tonight as well but a poorly timed injury leg and a bout of pneumonia took out both members this week. As a result, we have this 3-way match now to crown Focus Pro’s first ever tag champs. HWH fires everyone up with some tandem offense and near falls on Walker. Cademia falls victim to some similar combos from post game. Traevon with the blind tag and running wild on Talotta. Combs with his own blind tag in and Talotta is just having a bad time…until Walker pickups up the popup and hits a neckbreaker on the top. Great blockbuster combo on Cademia for a near fall. Jordan with the tag in again and it’s a big man on a rampage. 3D to Talotta! Kick out! Post game escapes a doomsday devices and hits a flying knee to Jordan! Cademia and Comba fly in! Big moves all around! W&C hit that doomsday on Talotta but Cademia is right there to roll up Jordan for the win! Hard work Heroes win the belts!!! Great choice here for the in-house faves. It seems like Post Game even recognizes game as they hold HWH’s hands up…letting McGuire hit a double low blow. The beatdown commences and they drop the belts on their corpses as they leave. What a start!
Match 2: Mike Graca (w/ Katy Prescott) vs Diego “Guapo Suave” Alvarez (w/ Eden Gray) (Bodybag Match)
Alvarez does what he is very good at - talking. Graca just hits the ring and beats the heck out of the loudmouth. I don’t see a body bag just yet. Alvarez tries to choke Graca with a shirt. He cuts off a dive to the outside…slam onto the concrete! Rude awakening! Alvarez finds a body bag under the ring! He can’t find the zipper and that gives Graca time to recover. Series of reversals. Forward rolling slam! Alvarez is destined for the bag but Big Lex hits the ring and wipes out Graca. Magic Killer! They load Graca in the bag. They got this? Graca with a choke hold and escapes defeat! Lex sent flying! Alvarez hits a short ddt! “Punch. Him. In. The. Face!” Yells Katy from ringside. Eden tries to help Alvarez get Graca in the bag but Katy cuts that off! Graca and Alvarez try to break them up but they fight out of the ring and to the back! Alvarez goes for a tombstone but Graca reverses it! Alvarez is in the bag! Big Lex attacks again! Dragon suplex to Alvarez! Lex tossed into the buckles! Corner dropkick! Another tombstone! Bag ‘em up, Graca! Ring the bell! Eden is right out to get Alvarez out of the bag. There might be another round to this feud!
Match 3: Stan Stylez (w/ Abbs) vs Arica Demia(c) (w/ Steve, the Sword of Destiny) (for the Intergender Bonanza Super Title)
No one likes Stan Stylez. So they are very happen to see Airica chop the heck out of the creamy shake weight master. Stan with a throat chop and he starts ripping off all his pants. Throat chop from Demia! She chases him down and chops him with a handful of whipped cream! Demia going for the kill but Abbs pulls the leg. Double axe handle from Stylez! Abbs chokes her too! Abbs is really becoming a problem tonight. Airica with a sole food! Back hand! Stuff ddt! Stylez barely kicks out! Palm strike! Stylez kicks out again. Abbs decked off the apron! Superman punch to Stan! Another kick out! Stylez with an eye rake and he posts her. He fills her mouth with whipped cream…stunner! Steve goes to stop Stan from hitting her with the shake weight. Oh no, STEVE IS PART OF THE CREAMY WORLD ORDER (the cwo). Another cream pie stunner! Demia kicks out! She takes the can! Demia with a cream pie stunner and a Superman punch puts the lights out on Stylez! One, two, three! Steve is back out here and the CWO shirt is off….but Demia doesn’t trust this AT ALL.
Match 4: Mani Ariez vs Marcus Mathers
Ariez is still holding that anytime contract for the Focus Pro championship but tonight, he has to go through recent WWE ID’d prospect Marcus Mathers. Everyone knows Marcus is good but I’ve seen impressive showings from Ariez recently and this might be his coming out party. Hard back and forth warfare here. Marcus with a dodge and unloads some hard chops. Ariez digs some hard knees into the spine. Shoot back stunner and a sitout bomb from Mathers! Ariez catches a crossbody into a suplex for two! Mani sent flying! Suicide dive! Off with his head cutter for two! “You wanna be the champion?” Yells Marcus. Ripcord lariat from Mani! “You’re damn f***ing right!” shouts Ariez back. Marcus with a sunset flip rollup traps Mani for the three! Ariez is stunned. Mathers wants the mic. Marcus holds onto Ariez’ contract for a moment. Marcus is going after the biggest prize. This is Mani’s championship to win. He tells Mani to not slip against Tyree like he did against Mathers tonight.
Match 5: Jess Moss vs JD Anderson (Deathmatch)
Time for some f***ing chaos before we head to intermission. I see barbed wire boards. A stapler. That’s prolly a bag of tacks. Chairs, of course. Anderson is immediately Sabu’d. She staples some dollars to Anderson….one right into his butthole. He returns the favor several times. And she pulls out the gussets. Oh f***. They trade shots from the spiked plates and we definitely have some crimson a’flowing. Anderson has a turkey carving knife. Jess gets him into the ropes and forks him up. She drinks some blood. You sick f***! Anderson cuts up her forehead with the carving knife! Here we go with the tacks. They decide to stab each other and trade headbutts. Side slam into the tacks! Kick out! Whips into both boards! Anderson raging in pain as Moss drags him through tacks and hits a big boot into the sharp s*** for the three count. A tack bounced off my glasses. The dangers of ringside. lol. Braintree and Focus Pro just got their Deathmatch introduction tonight. Fun time.

Match 6: “The Ace” Mike Montero vs “Prince Harming” Austin Luke
No one here is happy to see Austin Luke. Austin Luke isn’t particularly happy to be introduced to Monster OR Braintree. Good high energy strike fest here. Loud cracking chops, superkicks and lariats resound through the building. Mike hits a huge backstabber that pops the room. Boot wash! Suicide dive! Luke dodges a double stomp and hits a sliding lariat to the back of the head! Montero hits a spinning back kick and a hangman ddt for two! Luke starched with a superkick! Double stomp connects! Kick out! Huge series of big shots getting reversed until Luke hits a GTK for the win! Really good striking match.
Match 7: Matt Tremont vs Brian Bayside
When I first saw Brian Bayside in the ring, I immediately thought about this pseudo-mirror matchup. It’s clear that Focus Pro had it on their minds too. This wasn’t advertised as a deathmatch but they put a door and baking sheets in the ring…and is contested under RELAXED RULES. Bayside looks worried but he asks Tremont to rub his belly. Tremont decks him. They go for the sheets and clobber each other on the domes. Tremont wins this exchange and pummels Bayside behind the bar of Widowmaker brewing. We get into a good ol fashioned bar fight. Tremont ain’t getting the better of this punching battle so he blasts Bayside with a chair. Bayside decides this is a dance party. Tremont plays along and blasts Bayside. He dumps legos on the mat and slams bayside into them. This f***ing rules. Tremont to the top! Bayside tosses him off the top into the legos! They trade attempts at going into the door…Tremont gets a fireman’s carry and blasts Bayside through the door and gets the three! This ruled and the Focus Pro gives the Please Come Back. Tremont says Bayside earned his respect after that chaos. Loved this.
Match 8: Danny Miles vs Gabby Forza
Danny hates gnomes and Gabby and fun and people cheering for any of that. This is a VERY Pro-Gnome crowd. Gabby showing off her power early, both by pushing Danny around, overperforming him in pushups, and shoulder tackling him down several times! Forza clotheslines him over the top as he is completely outgunned here. Miles renters the ring and blows his knee out? The crowd goes dead silent as he apologizes to Gabby and the ref tries to help him out of the ring…and of course, it’s a trap and he boots Gabby off the apron and does some jumping jacks. He throws her into the wall before tearing at her neck back in the ring. Danny pummels and taunts Gnomie. She tries to rally but gets baited into charging the buckles. Gabby rocks him in the corner…outside in superplex! Stampede! Danny kicks out! Miles dodges a spear! Flying cross body! Fireman’s carry gutbuster! Gabby kicks out! Forza dodges a cannonball! Vader bomb! Kickout! Miles with a stiff knee into the second spear attempt! Gabby dodges a dream crusher…off the ropes…Spear connects!!! Miles eats the three count! Awesome fighto! Gabby offers a handshake…Danny feigns compliance but it’s a trap…Gabby’s ready and hits a second spear!
Main Event: Tyree Taylor(c) (w/ Ruthless Lala) vs Dezmond Cole (for the Focus Pro Championship)
This is TYREE’S HOUSE and he ain’t ready to hand off the keys to the kingdom just yet. But he is easily flustered by the dancing Big Boofa and the crowd with their “gross!” Signs. It’s almost like Tyree is somewhere else. Thinking about someONE else. And Cole is absolutely using this self-distraction to his advantage. Tyree is only kept off balance so long though…and he just punts Dezmond around the ring while he taunts the crowd back. Cole with some body splashes wearing Taylor down. Tyree with a snap cutter into the top rope. He really wants to put Cole away but the kick outs keep coming. He’s tired. He’s frustrated. But he IS still on top. And just like that Cole slips a superplex…superkick into a German off the top! Tyree tries a suplex…Cole with the ddt! Huge somersault to the floor! Ref gets killed…both a enziguri and a spear for each guy. Double accident! But it doesn’t matter…these guys are gonna keep going! Boofa with a tornado suplex! Running knee gives the visual fall….but the ref is still dead. Lala up on the apron….Cole falls for the bait and Tyree hits a discus lariat! The ref with the sllllloooow count. It’s baaaarely a two. Cole with a destroyer out of the Brooklyn zoo bomb! Cole says Tyree will always be a b**** and that fires the champ right up. Tyree blocks the what goes up. Buckle bomb! Brooklyn Zoo Bomb! Tyree gets the three and the successful defense!
And as Tyree starts to celebrate, Mani Ariez music hits! He’s cashing in NOW! Mani blasts Tyree with a claymore! Ring the bell!
Main Event 2: Tyree Taylor(c) vs Mani Ariez (for the Focus Pro championship)
Flying frog splash off the top. Tyree kicks out but the bells rings. Nono it’s a two! We’re still going. Tyree tries to shrug him off but Mani hits another claymore and gets the three and WINS THE FOCUS PRO CHAMPIONSHIP! He did it!!!! Great pop from the crowd for this as Mani is celebrating what is his biggest achievement so far. This is emotional as the crowd just going full on “You deserve it”. This is a great feeling tonight.
Back in the ring, a stunned Tyree gets to his feet and takes in what just occurred. He’s MAD and the crowd sings the Goodbye song at him. Ruthless Lala tries to calm him down and get him to the back as we end the show.
