Masked Republic Comics and Massive Publishing's Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse is one of the comic book world's hottest new releases of 2025.
With a critic review average of 9.2, the week of the issue #1's debut in October, it scored higher than the average comic from Marvel, DC and Image.
And, this week, the series earned two huge nominations for year end awards with Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse #1 being nominated for Best Debut Issue #1 and Michael Kingston for best writer for the series.
Now, this weekend, the duo heads to Los Angeles for two rare in-store signings of Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse #1 just days before issue #2 hits comic shop shelves.
Today, Friday, November 22, Vampiro & Kingston will be signing at Legion Comics in Los Angeles from 6-8 PM and tomorrow, Saturday, November 23, they will be signing in the San Fernando Valley at We Can Be Heroes in Chatsworth from 1-3 PM.
Head to your local comic book shop this coming Wednesday for Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse #2 as the race to stop armageddon pits Vampiro against the shotgun toting biker gang of nuns known as "The Bad Habit."
