The New Yorker Magazine looks at Netflix's Mr. McMahon documentary.

The Associated Press looks at Queen of Villains.

The Guardian in the UK looks at professional wrestling in China, specifically Middle Kingdom Wrestling.

Eastern Door featured a look at ISW's latest event in Canada being held in a parking lot after the original venue was found to have cracks in the wall, leading to concerns about structural safety.

The SPO promotion will be running Harrah's Philadelphia on 11/2 with what is billed as a summit of OG Philly promoters featuring Tod Gordon and John Zandig, plus Ric Blade returning to the ring in Philly for the first time in 20 years vs. Simon Gotch, Tasha Steelz, Donnie B, The New Backseat Boyz, Johnny Kashmere, BLK OUT, Facade, Dani Mo, The Rep and more.  For tickets, visit www.SPOWrestling.com.

The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity will be staged in Fort Worth, Texas this month.  The play, which was nominated for a 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, was first produced in Chicago in 2009 and had runs Off-Broadway and in a number of other markets.  The production features a wrestling ring onstage as well as Titan-tron like screens for ring entrance videos, but is more focused on the backstage aspects of the business. A number of names that will be familiar to hardcore fans are name-dropped in the dialogue but one doesn't need to be a wrestling fan to understand or appreciate the drama of the story.  If you get the chance, I absolutely suggest seeing the show.
