'THE KILLER'S GAME' HOLDING HOLLYWOOD PREMIERE TODAY AHEAD OF FRIDAY'S THEATRICAL RELEASE

By Mike Johnson on 2024-09-09 12:30:00

The Killer's Game, the new film starring Dave Bautista and featuring Drew McIntyre in his first acting role will hold its Hollywood premiere tonight ahead of its theatrical release this Friday 9/13.  We are told WWE is sending Cathy Kelley to the event.  AEW's Mercedes Mone is also slated to attend.

The plot of the film - "Based on Jay Bonansinga’s same-name novel, "The Killers Game" follows veteran assassin Joe Flood (Bautista), who is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and authorizes a kill on himself to avoid the pain that is destined to follow. After ordering the kill, he finds out that he was misdiagnosed and must then fend off the army of former colleagues trying to kill him."

Actor Terry Crews, who made a few appearances in WCW, is also part of the cast.

Bautista was most recently seen in My Spy - The Eternal City, which he also produced.  He was named as WWE Hall of Famer several years ago, but scheduling has prevented him from taking part in an official HOF ceremony.

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has a supporting role in the film playing one of those attempting to murder Bautista.  It is his first theatrical role, one that we are told Bautista personally reached out to McIntyre about.    McIntyre recently signed with Paradigm, one of the most elite talent agencies in the world for representation.
