AEW COLLISION REPORT

It is Saturday and AEW Collision is live in the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.

The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly) and Hologram vs Lee Moriarty, The Beast Mortos, and Johnny TV w/Taya Valkyrie and Shane Taylor

Kyle and TV start the match with grappling and then attack with kicks. Kyle gets a type of hip toss and then move to mat work. They run the ropes and TV gets a shoulder tackle. TV tries for a sunset flip and Kyle goes for an arm bar. They roll into the ropes for the break. Cassidy tags in and they hit a series of double team attacks on TV until Cassidy gets a two count.

Hologram tags in and gets a monkey flip for two. Cassidy tags back in as does Lee. Lee gets an arm bar takedown and they trade arm bars with showy spins to switch.  Hologram tags back in and they run the ropes with Hologram getting a tilt-a-whirl arm bar, but Lee gets a pin for two. They trade roll ups for one counts. Lee blocks a tejaris, but Hologram gets a sunset flip for two. This sets off the tag team siren and Mortos takes everyone out. 

Hologram gets a three times around tejaris. Hologram runs into Lee, who takes him down. Kyle gets a rear naked choke on Lee, TV gets one on Kyle, Cassidy leaps and grabs on TV so we have five wrestler chains in a hold. Mortos comes into the ring and shoulder blocks Cassidy to the floor and it breaks the hold. Mortos gets a tornado and takes out his partners. Kyle gets a running knee and Cassidy gets a dive. Hologram gets a swanton onto the whole crowd on the floor and we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, TV shoots Cassidy into the corner where he goes up and over. Cassidy knocks TV’s head into the top turnbuckle, and pulls down the top rope, so TV goes over the top. Lee tries a sunset flip, but Cassidy tags in Kyle, who runs wild. Mortos cuts him with a big strike and they trade blows until Mortos hits a discus lariat on Kyle. TV tags in and Mortos power slams Kyle. The ref tells TV has to pin, and TV tags in Mortos and he hits an elbow drop for two.

Kyle grabs a guillotine choke and Mortos shrugs him off. Hologram is tagged in and he fights all three of his opponents with kicks and flying moves. He takes down Mortos with a sunset flip for two. Hologram lays in blows and then comes off the ropes into a spear from Mortos for two, broken up by Kyle. TV and Lee are tossed from the ring, Cassidy and Kyle drag Hologram to their corner, and Kyle tags in. Kyle and Cassidy lay in kicks on Mortos. Mortos catches their kicks, tosses them away and lays out Kyle with a strike. Cassidy gets stundog millionaire, but TV and Lee come in to beat him down. 

It is now time for everyone to get a big move on the last person. Hologram gets a backward Spanish Fly on TV from the second turnbuckle for the pin and the win.

Winners: The Conglomeration.

The Premier Athletes (Aryia Davari, Tony Nese, and Josh Woods) w/Mark Sterling vs the Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin, and Colton Gunn)

Austin and Nese start the match and Nese forces them into his corner and they work Austin over with quick tags. Austin grabs Woods’ ear and the ref yells at. This brings in the rest of the Gang. As the ref makes them get out, Austin is attacked from behind and they go back to working him over with quick tags. 

Austin finally gets a big hip toss on Davari and gets a tag to Juice, who runs wild. He then tags in Colton who keeps up the attack ending with a drop-kick and a cover on Woods for two. Sterling gets on the apron and Colton hurls Nese into him when Nese charges. Woods sneaks in for a quick rollup for two Colton and Austin hit the 3:10 to Yuma on Woods for the pin and the win.

Winners: The Bang Bang Gang

We then get a video package of Mercedes Mone at New Japan Pro Wrestling Capital Collision beating Mina Shirakawa.

We then get a video promo from Hikaru Shida for her match in the main event. 

FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs Mike Bennett and Matt Taven

Dax and Bennett start the match with them hooking up and going to Bennett’s corner where Taven tags in. They run the ropes and Dax gets a shoulder tackle, then a hip toss. Taven gets a drop toe hold and preen to the camera, allowing Dax to lay in chops Cash tags in and they get a double team slam.  Taven drives Cash to his corner and Bennett tags in. 

Bennett and Taven work Cash over with quick tags. Cash is able to get a tag before too long and they get Bennett with a double back body drop. Both Taven and Bennett are tossed to the outside. Taven is rolled into the ring and Dax takes over. He rolls up Taven as Bennett tags in, but Dax grabs Bennett as he comes in for another rollup. Taven breaks it up and runs Dax into the ringpost from inside the ring and we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Dax gets a DDT on Taven. Both men are down, and Bennett tags in first, but Cash is able to tag in and he cleans house. Bennett cuts him off with a discus forearm, and they both whip Dax to the corner. He pops out and Cash comes off the top turnbuckle to double clothesline them both down. 

They hit stereo German suplexes three times. Taven escapes and gets a back body drop. Bennett is suplexed by Dax and Cash comes over the top for a jack knife pin for two. Bennett is put on the top turnbuckle and when Dax is taken out by Taven, Bennett comes off the top and gets a rollup for two. They double-team Dax for two. They set up for a spike pile driver but Cash whips Bennett into the turnbuckle Taven is on top of.

Bennett takes the shatter machine, and rolls out to the floor. Taven takes the power plex and they cover him for the pin and the win.

Winners: FTR

The Grizzled Young Veterans hit the ring and attack FTR. They grab a mic and they are in AEW because that's where the best wrestle. They say it is the second time in one week they have laid out the living legends. For years, they have been forced to live in FTR’s shadow, and they are here to stay and you will remember their names.

Next is a promo video for Thunder Rosa.

In the back, Lance Archer is beating up people. 

Action Andretti, Lio Rush, Dante, and Darius Martin w/Leila Grey vs the Already in The Ring Boulder, Bronson, Jacked Jameson and Turbo Floyd

Turbo is supposed to start, but Jameson tags himself in to face Andretti. They lock up and he whips Andretti into the ropes and Andretti leaps over him and hits a drop-kick. Turbo tags in again and Boulder tags in on him. They do the same thing with Bronson. Each time one of the Savages tag in, Top Flight takes them down. 

FINALLY, Turbo is tagged in and Jameson tags in to take an airplane spin from Dante. Dante does the same to Bronson. Boulder gets in the ring and Dante tries on him, but Boulder is too big. ALL of Top Flight get in the ring to suplex Boulder. 

IT’S TURBO’S TURN!! 

He Hulks up and takes them each out with big punches. Turbo swings at Rush and hits Bronson, who falls to the floor. Rush shoves Turbo into Jameson. Dante hits a frog splash on Jameson for the pin and the win.

Winners: Top Flight

I’m sorry, I love this kind of silliness.

Lexi Nair is with Queen Aminata and Serena Deeb. Deeb says she has beaten Rosa and Shida, and says Aminata is good but not good enough and offers to team with her. Before Aminata can reply, Deep tells her to think about it. 

Kyle Fletcher vs Tomihiro Ishii

Don Callis joins commentary.

Kyle tries to shoulder tackle Ishii, which is a waste of time. They throw hands in the middle of the ring and neither one gives an inch until Kyle hits a kick. They trade shoulder tackles until Ishii knocks Kyle down. Ishii lays in chips in the corner. Kyle is able to get a slam on Ishii after Ishii shoots him in the corner. Kyle lays in blows on Ishii’s head in the corner which is another waste of time. Ishii charges through Kyle. 

They move to fighting on the apron and Kyle gets a sheer drop brainbuster on the apron as we go to picture in picture. 

When we return to full screen, they are throwing =hands again. Ishii whips Kyle to the corner and Kyle gets the big boot up. Ishii grabs him for another stalling vertical suplex. Ishii gets a side suplex for two. Ishii tries for a power bomb, but Kyle drops down. Ishii lays in chops, but Kyle gets a running knee. Ishii goes to the floor where Kyle dives onto him. Kyle rolls Ishii into the ring, gets a big boot, then gets a half-and-half suplex and Ishii lands on his feet, none the worse for wear. 

Ishii hits a German and Kyle gets a discus forearm. Ishii does the same. Kyle is able to get a power bomb on Ishii and both men are down. Kyle gets a series of kicks and clotheslines, but Ishii gets the headbutt and Kyle goes down. Ishii gets a clothesline for two. Kyle escapes a pickup and rolls Ishii up for two. Kyle then hits a buckle bomb into the second buckle. And Ishii is stunned. Kyle puts Ishii on the top and Kyle joins. They fight on the top and Ishii gets a hurricanrana. 

Ishii hits a sliding clothesline for two. Kyle gets a sheer drop brainbuster for two. Kyle gets a thrust kick and a running lariat. Ishii pops up. Kyle hits a spinning tombstone for two. Kyle finally hits another pile driver for the pin and the win.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher

We get a short video package for Queen Aminata.

We then get a video package for the match between Bryan Danielson and Jack Perry at All Out.

Pac is with Lexi and he says just because he had a Wembley moment, he is not content. He is full of piss and vinegar. He challenges Will Ospreay and his partners to a match on Wednesday. Kyle Fletcher and Orange Cassidy and they are talking to Briscoe. He knocks the phone out of Kyle's hand and goes face to face with Cassidy.

Buddy Matthews vs Komander 

They trade arms bars with Buddy having most of the control. He takes Komander down repeatedly with the arm bar. Komander is able to reverse the pressure and Buddy is able to get a side headlock takeover. Buddy grabs the headlock again and clotheslines Komander down. Komander uses Buddy for a backflip. Komander tries for a DDT and Buddy stops him. Komander is able to reverse it and hit a tejaris.

Buddy catches Komander in midair when Komander divers and suplexes him onto the floor as we go to picture in picture. When we return to full screen, they are fighting on the apron. Komander tries for a DDT, but Buddy stops him with a punch. Komander gets a kick and then a leg-based DDT into the mat. Both men are down.

Komander is up first and they trade kicks and strikes in the middle of the ring. Komander is able to get Buddy dazed and hits a spinning poisonrana. Komander hits a diving spike into Buddy and rolls Buddy into the ring. Komander gets a springboard moonsault, but Buddy catches him. Komander turns it into a tornado DDT. 

Buddy hits a rising knee strike and puts him on the top. Komander is able to escape and kick Buddy down. Buddy hits a rising knee strike and Komander leaps onto him, and he follows up with a pump handle slam for the pin and the win.

Winner: Buddy Matthews

On the big screen, we get the MxM Collection challenging the House of Black for a match next week. Buddy accepts. 

Next is a video for Serena Deeb and we’ve seen all four women in the main event. 

Serena Deeb vs Queen Aminata vs Thunder Rosa vs Hikaru Shida

The winner gets a match for the TBS Title with Mercedes Mone at All Out.

After a quick pairing off, Shida starts throwing hands on her three opponents. She whips all of them into the corner and hits a splash into all three. Shida gets five in the corner as Rosa pulls her off. Aminata and Shida are knocked or pulled to the floor and we get Deeb and Rosa throwing chops. Rosa gets a Northern Lights with a bridge for two, broken up by Aminata. 

Shida tosses Aminata and they fight to the floor. Shida and Deeb fight and Rosa joins, and the four women try to suplex each other, two on each side. Deeb and Animata suplex Shida and Rosa as we go to picture in picture. 

When we return to full screen, Deeb is working over Rosa with help from Aminata. Shida pulls Deeb from the ring and Aminata hits a snap suplex on Rosa. Aminata gets hip attacks and kicks on Rosa and Shida. Aminata covers Shida for two and it’s broken up by Deeb. Deeb then attacks Aminata. Deeb takes down Rosa and then Shida. Rosa whips Deeb to the corner, and Deeb gets a reverse neckbreaker on Rosa.

Deeb gets a dragon whip on Shida in the ropes. Deeb gets a swinging neckbreaker on Aminata. Deeb gets a single leg crab on Shida and Rosa breaks it up with a dropkick. Rosa dn Aminata struggle with each other and Rosa is able to kick down Shida before flipping over Aminata for a back stabber. Rosa gets drop kicks on Shida and Aminata. She covers Aminata for two, broken up by Deeb.

Deeb gets a drop toe hold on Rosa, and hits a suplex on Shida. Deeb gets a short arm lariat and Rosa drops her with a cutter. Aminata gets a big strike on Rosa and Shida then drops Aminata.

All four women are down, struggling to get up. Rosa and Shida face off. Aminata and Deeb rolls them both up for two. Rosa and Shida throw hands. Rosa gets a German suplex and Shida hits a running knee. Shida goes to the top. Rosa kicks Deeb away and meets her on top for a hurricanrana. Aminata takes a thrust kick and Rosa gets a Death Valley bomb for two, broken up by Deeb. 

Deeb hits an underhook piledriver, but can’t get her up enough and it looks ugly. Deeb gets a single leg crab and Aminata kicks her off. Deeb is knocked out of the ring with a head butt and Shida rolls up Aminata for two. Shida gets a question mark kick and a katana for the pin and the win on Aminata.
