They lock up and exchange some arm locks. Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz are shown watching the match from the balcony. Rich Swann grabs the ropes and Mike Bailey breaks with respect. Swann follows, but Bailey runs back in the ring and hits a dive on Swann to the outside. Swann recovers quickly and almost sends Bailey into AJ Francis. Francis threatens Bailey. With the distraction, Swann is able to take control of the match and flattens Bailey on the outside with adive.

Gia Miller is in the back with Jordynne Grace. Grace says that she’s all about giving people opportunities. She says that Ash by Elegance is very lucky to get another opportunity. She doesn't care what the “Match by Elegance” is - she’s going to walk about the Knockouts World Champion.

Joe Hendry vs. Brian Myers with Eddie Edwards and Alisha Edwards

Tom Hannifan talks about Joe Hendry’s appearance on NXT during Hendry’s entrance. Joe Hendry has a microphone in the middle of the ring. He says that this is where he would normally make fun of Brian Myers. However, he heard a rumor that some people respect Myers. Therefore, to be fair - if you respect Brian Myers, do not chant “Edge’s Bitch.” The crowd chants it. “Oh, that’s right…no one respects Brian Myers. If people want to show respect, they chant ‘We Believe!’”...which the crowd chants.

Myers has Hendry in a chin lock when the action returns. Hendry hits an uppercut when he gets out for a two count. Myers cuts Hendry’s comeback short and gets a two count of his own. Winner: Joe Hendry

After the match, Eddie Edwards slides into the ring and takes out Hendry. Edwards and Myers are beating down Hendry until Mike Santana’s music hits. Santana comes through the crowd and Myers is cleared from the ring by security so that the scheduled match between Eddie Edwards and Mike Santana can take place.

Mike Santana vs. Eddie Edwards

Mike Santana gets in the ring and the match gets started right away. They exchange some chops and strikes until Santana takes control with a big tackle. He picks up Edwards and hits another chop. Edwards thumbs Santana in the eye, though, and takes control in the corner.

Edwards hits a big chop. Santana goes to another corner and hits a big chop of his own as Edwards gets close. Santana goes to the second rope and hits a series of punches on Edwards, followed by a tackle on Edwards. Edwards kicks at Santana’s leg, hits a chop, and sends Santana into the ropes. Santana stops himself by holding onto the ropes, so Edwards charges him. Santana back body drops Edwards over the ropes.

Alisha Edwards comes back out and distracts Santana. Santana then goes to chase Edwards and Alisha gets in the way. The distraction allows Edwards to take control on the outside. Edwards distracts the referee on the inside of the ring so that Alisha can strike Santana and then rake his back.

Santana gets back in the ring and Edwards hits some clotheslines for a two count. Santana’s back is showing legitimate scratches from Alisha. Edwards gets Santana down and kicks him hard in the back. He keeps him down with another kick and then chokes him on the ropes. He mud stomps him in the corner. Edwards distracts the referee and Alisha grabs at Santana’s hair. Tom Hannifan explains that this will be a Falls Count Anywhere style of match. Matthew Rehwoldt exits the commentary table so that he can prepare for the face off between Nic Nemeth and Josh Alexander. There are weapons all around the ring that are decorated in pink, along with bows and feathers. Very elegant.

Jade Chung starts the introductions, but The Personal Concierge grabs the microphone from her to introduce Ash by Elegance the right way. Jade Chung is allowed to introduce Jordynne Grace, though. As Grace is being introduced, Ash hits her with a pink chair from behind.

Grace is able to strike Ash down and grabs a pink kendo stick. She hits Ash in the back with it a couple of times. Grace grabs a table from under the ring. The Personal Concierge is very worried and says he needs to focus in order to help Ash by Elegance. He leaves the commentary table and sprays hair spray into Grace’s eyes. Face Off

TNA Champion Nic Nemeth and Josh Alexander

This takes place backstage and Matthew Rehwoldt is sitting between Nic Nemeth and Josh Alexander. He says that there is a no contact agreement.

Rehwoldt talks to Alexander about not wanting five more minutes in the time limit draw a couple of weeks ago. Alexander says that they are on his time now. He’s taking the championship on his terms.

Rehwoldt talks to Nemeth about being the flag bearer of the company now. Can he handle the pressure? Nemeth says that he’s happy and overjoyed to be the World Champion. He says that he plans on being a fighting champion. He asks Alexander why so many people know his name and not Alexander’s - is it because Alexander was the flag bearer or just a good wrestler? He says that Alexander could have just come to him face-to-face and asked for a shot at the title instead of taking cheap shots and attacking his family. He doesn’t think Alexander has the ability to beat him now.

Rehwoldt talks about how Alexander never lost the title. He asks Alexander: what has gone wrong? Alexander says that nothing has gone with him. It’s everyone else. He says that everyone in TNA still calls him “champ.” He says that Nemeth is not the champ. Alexander lists some former champions and says that he’s above them all. The title forever belongs to him. He says that TNA sees shiny new toys like Nemeth and Joe Hendry and gives them everything, but Alexander will be taking back what is rightfully his. TNA will be better off for it.

Rehwoldt asks Nemeth: what are you willing to do to keep the title? Nemeth says that Alexander needs to learn that he has to change in order to be champion. What has he done lately? In 2024, Alexander can’t talk about what he used to do. Nemeth says he can go all night long.

Alexander says that he has been in matches like this before. Nemeth says it’s too late. There’s no looking back and he picks up the title. Alexander gets in Nemeth’s face and says that Nemeth is in for the hardest match of his life because he’s the (bleeping) standard. Nemeth says that Alexander used to be the best and World Champion, but now…it’s him (Nemeth) and it’s staying that way. He’ll fight to the death for it. There’s an intense staredown before Alexander walks away and the show fades to black.

ten-Hoeve Highlights

Honestly, this whole show was pretty damn great. Bailey vs. Swann was a heck of an opener. Hendry vs. Myers was a cool old school-style match that flowed beautifully into Santana vs. Edwards, which was also kind of old school-ish with some modern updates. I loved seeing Jake Something be more aggressive. I’m not sure what’s going to happen with Rich Swann now, but maybe Jake Something can slide into whatever the plans are with AJ Francis to continue building his character. The Match by Elegance was a fun brawl and showed that Ash by Elegance can be a featured player in the Knockouts Division. Lastly, I was already excited for Nic Nemeth and Josh Alexander, but man…they had a hell of a final segment on this show. Both men really nailed the intensity and I cannot wait for them to go at it for a full hour tomorrow night!
