AFA THE WILD SAMOAN UPDATE

A number of readers have written asking about WWE Hall of Famer Afa the Wild Samoan as there have been a number of tributes posted online.

As we have covered previously, Afa has been dealing with a number of heart issues that required surgery as well as several back surgeries after a bad fall.  They have all taken their toll and there is significant concern about his health going forward as the end, unfortunately, is near.

Reports that Afa have passed away are incorrect.  However, his passing is looming and we send the entire Anoa'i family the best during what is obviously a sad and troubling evening.

Samu, Anoa'i, Afa's oldest son, posted the following in tribute to his father:

"As we embark on your final journey home, we express our heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering love and guidance you have bestowed upon us throughout our lives. We find solace in knowing that you will soon be reunited with the Lord Jesus, your parents, siblings, and friends who have gone before us. We have no doubt that you will establish a Wild Samoan training center in the sky, bringing us all together once again. We believe in the power of your love and legacy, and we will continue to honor it in all that we do.
