We've been asked whether there is a change coming to the usual WWE post-show format since it is not listed as Press Conference" as it has traditionally been. In checking around, there does not appear to be any changes, so it may be they just shortened the title.
Piper Niven will be signing at Forbidden Planet in Glasgow (I had no idea there was one in Scotland, I've been going to the one in NYC since I was like 10!) on Friday 6/12 at 1:30 PM local time. You have to purchase a WWE Funko doll in order to secure a wristband, so I'd contact the store to check on when you can do so.
WWE will open the official Clash at the Castle Store at St. Enoch Centre this Thursday 6/13 at 10 AM local time. If anyone wants to send photos or notes along from the store or any of the other events taking place this weekend, feel free to email me by clicking my name above!
Due to the time zone differences, this week's Smackdown will air live in Europe but will be taped delayed here several hours in the United States. If anyone is attending the taping, we are seeking notes from that event as well.
If you missed Raw, Judgment Day are now banned from ringside for Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. They are going to need a really smart finish to get out of changing the title (if Drew isn't winning it) or risk really upsetting the Scottish fans. Just my OPINION here, but I think WWE should shy away from doing some sort of screwy finish. Whatever they have planned, it will be better for all involved and the fans there if they don't go too wacky with it, since McIntyre has legitimate credibility there obviously and they are still building Priest in his current role. But, we will see. These are thr the types of thing that make pro wrestling interesting to follow and I'm really curious to see how WWE books that finish.
