MORE ON WHY WWE & AEW PLAGIRISM LAWSUIT PLAINTIFF IS INCARCERATED

By Mike Johnson on 2024-04-17 11:45:00

Ohio NBC affiliate WFMJ picked up the story that PWInsider.com broke yesterday that WWE and AEW Plagiarism lawsuit plaintiff Anthony Duane Wilson is currently incarcerated and requesting a pause on his lawsuit against the two companies.

Wilson, who was described by WFMJ as a professional wrestler who competes under different names, has been incarcerated since late last month when he was found guilty of harassment by an inmate.

WFMJ noted, "According to the county prosecutor’s office, the case involved an incident on Jan. 29, 2023, where a Trumbull County Jail correction officer was splashed with urine that Wilson had thrown from a milk carton through an opening in the discipline pod of the jail."

Wilson plead not guilty by reason of insanity but the court ruled he was competant to stand trial.  He had been released from jail after the incident but his bond was revoked and he is currently behind bars awaiting sentencing.  He could face up to a year of incarceration, leading one to wonder what could happen to all his ships and plunder.

The court has yet to rule on his request to pause the lawsuit.

Thanks to Nick M. for passing this on.
