HOW CODY SHOULDN’T FINISH THE STORY, ROCK-ROMAN, THE TEST TONY KHAN WOULD HAVE FAILED IF HE HAD TAKEN IT AND MORE

Has Tony Khan ever watched what professional wrestling is about?  He signs Okada and Mone, only to have Mone give, less than stellar promo's and to see Okada show up in a sports car.  It is bad enough he has already been handicapped by being placed with the Cucamonga Kids, but if TK thinks having Okada show up in a different sports car every week is going to bring in viewers, he has lost his mind.

That is the sad irony about the sorry state that AEW booking is in, Khan has watched wrestling for decades.  He has claimed in the past that he studied it, but if he did, he definitely would have failed any test given to him on the subject matter.  He is a terrible booker who has no idea how to get over storylines or characters.  I feel bad for AEW fans because they deserve better than the horrible creative that he gives them.

What does it say about Tony Khan that he is searching Twitter at 4 a.m. just so that he can attack people that he doesn't like?

It says a lot of things and none of them are good.

If Cody does in fact “finish the story”, but does so with some type of interference - ie: Rock costing Roman the match - does that devalue Cody’s win?  Or if it doesn’t end with Cody winning, is the only option him winning cleanly?

In the end, Cody needs to win cleanly in my opinion so that the Title reign starts of cleanly.  I can see them doing some shenanigans before the finish where he gets screwed out of a win, and maybe Roman does too, before he finally scores a clean three.  But at the end, if he is going to win then that pin has to be clean.

Will we ever find out what exactly the original plan was for Rock?  Was it truly Rock vs Roman and then the uproar changed their minds?  Or was this path always the plan?  I’d always assume the former, except for Cody tweeting “trust me” while it was happening, and even Gewirtz tweeting “you all have no idea”. That makes me think this was always the plan from the get go.

We all know now.  Mike posted this ESPN article where the principals talked about it at this link.

If Britt Baker has been off TV due to injury, why was she complaining on Twitter/X about her lack of promo time if she knew she wasn't medically cleared at the time?

Beats me but hey, complaining is what a significant chunk of the AEW roster does, both publicly and through friendly “reporters”.  Tony Khan should stop it and change the culture but, well, he’s Tony Khan.
