How many Wrestlemanias have you attended and which were the three best?
I've attended 10, 11, 15 and then every Wrestlemania from 17 on through Mania 40 today, initially as a fan and then obviously covering them for the site.
I feel the three strongest in my opinion were 17, 10 and 30. Obviously every show has its hits and misses and it's all subjective, but those are the ones that stand out in my head immediately.
Who is Blue Kane?
A wrestler in a Blue colored Kane outfit. No connection to the WWE talent or even WWE for that matter.
What wrestlers have actual statues dedicated to them erected? Have you ever visited them?
Off the top of my head, outside of the statues WWE has made for the Hall of Fame:
*Bruno Sammartino in his hometown in Italy.
*The Crusher in Milwaukee.
*Frank Gotch in Homboldt, Iowa.
*El Santo in Mexico City.
*Danny Hodge in Perry, Oklahoma.
I've visited the Gotch and Crusher statues while driving across the country. Both were really great to see in person.
Any word on a potential AJ Lee return now that CM Punk is back in the good graces?
No word. Lee retired for health reasons, as she wrote about her in her memoir. I don't imagine she comes back for any lengthy run, although it's possible she does an appearance and does something down the line. She has a great writing career going and I don't think she's want to take time away from that, but that's just a guess on my part.
Is it true WCW once let The Iron Sheik work for the company for a year without using him?
Yes, the company accidentally let his contract roll over in 1990. When it expired, he returned to the WWF as Col. Mustafa.
Favorite Freebird?
Michael Hayes was my favorite of the three but who didn't love Terry Gordy in his prime?
What would have happened to pro wrestling if Pro Wrestling USA had worked out?
I think they would have had a longer run working together against the WWF, but in the end, they would have lost the war of attrition.
What is your real job?
