The latest word on MLW Champion Satoshi Kojima's MCL injury is that it has greatly improved.
AJ Francis vs. Alex Kane has been added to the 3/29 War Chamber event in Tampa.
MLW is extremely happy with how advance tickets are moving for Tampa, the 5/11 Azteca Lucha event in Chicago and the June Atlanta return at Center Stage. Sources noted that it's been the best year for the promotion across the board since 2019 and with the year still being so yung, the hope is that momentum will remain after selling out NYC and Philly. They return to NYC in August.
Salina de la Renta has been producing pre-tapes behind the scenes and is now the primary director for the Women’s Featherweight division pre-tapes. de la Renta has been given a big influence on the women's division overall and has been working in that capacity since November of last year. On camera, she is now backing Bad Dude Tito as well as part of her feud against Cesar Duran.
The first set of MLW action figures from Boss Fight Studios have officially sold out withmu the next batch likely not available for several months. So, if you are looking for a Jacob Fatu, Mads Krugger, etc. action figure, the secondary market is your only option currently. The promotion is thrilled with the demand as the figures moved much quicker than they could keep up with.
Expect Brett Ryan Gosselin in the mix for a big push. There's been some in the company who have compared him favorably to Chris Candido and Louie Spicoli.
