What can you tell me about the "Duke of Dorchester" Pete Doherty? I've seen him pop up a few times on some programs on WWE Network's Old School. From what I can gather he was some sort of 80s jobber from the New England area who developed something of a cult following. In fact on one Boston Garden card I noticed the scoreboard say "Welcome members of the Pete Doherty fan club".
Pete Doherty was a local worker who regularly appeared on the Boston area cards. Like some of the other undercard characters of the era, since he was around so much, he gathered a small fan following and I believe even did some commentary on house shows that were televised, but was never a major part of the WWF's touring schedule. He is now retired and still lives in the MA area I believe.
Is Sting going to remain with AEW after his retirement?
The impression I get is that he'd still be under contract but whether he's still involved at all is probably a question only he has the answer to. My gut is he takes time for himself and then goes from there.
Does Mick Foley own all of his ring names?
The only persona Mick Foley couldn't use outside of WWE would be Mankind, which was created by the company. Mick created Cactus Jack and used it for his first wrestling match, which was many years before he signed with the company in 1996, so WWE couldn't claim ownership unless Foley signed it over and there's no way he was that stupid. Obviously he can use his real name and Dude Love, since that was something he created way before he was even in the pro wrestling world. Foley does own a trademark on "Kind Man."
Why didn't WWE use the Honky-Meter when GUNTHER was closing in on breaking the WWE Intercontinental record like they did with Santino?
Stop.
Were Kendall Windham & Butch Reed ever members of The Four Horsemen?
No.
