RUMOR KILLER ON ROCK VS. TRIPLE H, HISTORIC ECW EVENT DISAPPEARS FROM PEACOCK (UPDATED) & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2024-02-16 16:31:00

Updated at 5:30 PM EST - The show has now returned on Peacock but is not searchable.

Several readers sent word that ECW Barely Legal is, for some reason, no longer available to stream on Peacock.  No idea if this is a glitch or whether the show has been purposely removed, but it you would think it's odd for the first ever ECW PPV to not be available.  Perhaps they are going to finally upload the actual PPV version, since the one that had been streaming since the advent of the WWE Network was an old edited WWE DVD version?

A number of readers also sent word about a story making the rounds that Triple H and The Rock recently filmed a promo teasing the idea of a match against the other at Wrestlemania 40.  There is absolutely zero truth to the idea that was even filmed, much less that it's going to happen.   I'm not sure where that started but it seemed as if the alleged verbiage was actually from a faceoff the two had nearly a decade ago for a tease of a bout that never actually happened.  There's not a lot that I would say can never happen in WWE, but Paul Levesque returning for a main event level match after his heart issues - that one I absolutely do not see, especially if people are assuming it based on such a silly report.

The Rock, however, did Tweet:

Mick Foley released the following video as part of his weight-loss journey:
