Before Dynamite went on the air, AEW held the following matches in Austin, Texas:
*Powerhouse Hobbs pinned Jessie Forbes.
*Lance Archer beat an unannounced opponent he beat up all the way to the ring.
*Red Velvet pinned Killer Kate.
AEW Rampage spoilers:
*Sammy Guevara pinned Jeff Hardy in a No DQ match that saw chairs and a ladder involved. Hardy nailed a Twist of Fate off a ladder. He attempted to come off a ladder and put Guevara through a table but Guevara stopped him. He ended up doing the swanton through the table, which received a big "Holy sh**!" chant. Guevara nailed a nasty looking shooting star press off the top with his knee smashing the side of Hardy's face. Referee Paul Turner called the ringsid doctor into the ring to check on Hardy. Hardy and Guevara seemed to call an audible with Guevara nailing a Torture Rack into a knee strike for the pin. Hardy appeared to be bleeding from the nose or the lip after. Matt Hardy and Guevara had words and the Hardys both gave him the finger. Hardy walked out with ringside officials assisting. After the bout, Powerhouse Hobbs attacked Guevara and laid him out. Hobbs slammed him off the ropes through a table.
*Dustin Rhodes and Marshall and Ross Von Erich defeated Shimbashi & Romero Cruz & Hit when they pinned all three in unison with The Iron Claw and Rhodes nailing a gourdbuster. No Kevin Von Erich appearance.
*Queen Aminata pinned Anna Jay after drilling her with a headbutt as Jay charged.
*Jay White & The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn & The Gunn Club defeated Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal & Satnam Singh & Dark Order when Billy Gunn pinned Alex Reynolds.
