AEW DYNAMITE IN CHICAGO THIS WEEK, CONTINENTAL CLASSIC, RONDA AND LOTS MORE AEW NOTES

AEW Dynamite will emanate from the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL this Wednesday.  It will feature the kickoff of the Continental Classic, which will be a round robin tournament with no one at ringside and no interference.  The winner will hold a Triple Crown of a Continental Class title, the ROH Championship and the New Japan Strong title as Eddie Kingston will be putting his belts on the line in every bout.  There will be 3 points for a win, one point for a draw.

TMZ picked up the gore and brutality of the Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page Texas Death Match at AEW Full Gear over the weekend.  You have been warned, it's NSFW in many ways, but click here.  

AEW President Tony Khan stated the PPV numbers for Full Gear were trending higher than The debut Wrestledream PPV.

Ronda Rousey is not signed or signing with the company but the door is open for her to come and appear down the line if the constellations align.  Rousey wanted the opportunity to team with Marina Shafir and work with her.  We are told that pro wrestling is not the top of her priority list in the near future.  She has a memoir coming out this April.

Tickets for All In: London 2024 will go on sale 12/1.

MJF dedicated his match against Jay White to his late grandfather, who passed away three years ago this past weekend.  MJF was pretty banged up after the match we are told.

Full Gear had over 13,000 in attendance at the KIA Forum and was the most highly attended Full Gear PPV to date.

Juice Robinson was not at the PPV over the weekend as he's injured.

While speaking at the post-PPV media scrum, Will Ospreay admitted he doesn't even know how he was able to sign with AEW before his New Japan deal was up and that was left to all his reps.  Ospreay noted he wanted to hear everyone out, including Impact, who made him what PWInsider.com is told a massive offer, before he decided to sign with AEW.

Chris Jericho got ten stitches in his arm after hitting the ring steps hard.

The Young Bucks stuff is all an angle to slide them into a new heel role.
