AEW Tag Team Champion Cash Wheeler has been arrested and is currently incarcerated in Orange County Jail in Florida on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm.
Wheeler, real name Daniel Wheeler, was booked into the jail this morning at midnight. We are working on the details around his arrest.
Wheeler went before a Circuit Court Judge earlier today and has a bond listed of $2,500. We have not confirmed that he has bonded out as of this writing.
PWInsider.com reached out to AEW and received the following statement from the promotion:
"AEW has been made aware of the charge, and we are closely monitoring the situation. He is fully cooperating with local authorities."
