With QT Marshall having won the Lucha Libre AAA Latin American Champion at TripleMania 31: Mexico City, there was at least a pitch of him appearing on TV with the title.
As we noted earlier today, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match segment was something WBD brought to AEW. There was talk of it potentially being a cinematic deal before the decision was made to make it a live Death Match with Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Hardy, etc. AEW shifted plans for this week's TV in order to accommodate WBD. We have been told that WBD really likes the crossover viewership AEW brings for promotional endeavors such as this and the Shark Week crossover a few weeks back. They absolutely want to do more.
Ring of Honor was taped last night after Dynamite so the company could get ahead with the logistics of traveling to the UK later this month.
We have heard that the 8/25 edition of Rampage will be taped at this Saturday's Collision taping in Lexington, Kentucky.
AEW will tape the 8/26 edition of Collision this Wednesday in Duluth, GA, which means the entire locker room will be under one roof. Hopefully, AEW has everyone get together to FINALLY clear the air and let the pressure valve loosen up, but whether that happens remains to be seen. If something isn't resolved, at some point, everything is just going to snap at some point again, so let's hope it doesn't come to that.
One would assume House of Black vs. The Acclaimed will be added to All In: London.
The Tuesday 10/10 Dynamite and Rampage Title Tuesday taping in Independence, Missouri at the Cable Dahmer Arena and the Wednesday, 10/18 Dynamite and Rampage debut in Rosenberg, TX at the the brand new Fort Bend Epicenter will go on sale tomorrow.
Scheduled for tomorrow's edition of AEW Rampage on TNT:
*AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida & Skye Blue vs. Toni Storm & Ruby Soho with Saraya.
*Komander vs. Rey Fenix - we are told this was excellent if you enjoy lucha.
*ROH Tag Team Champions Aussie Open vs. Ethan Page & Isaiah Kassidy.
*Dr. Britt Baker to appear.
