FORMER WWE DEVELOPMENTAL KYLE RASMUSSEN SENTENCED

By Mike Johnson on 2023-08-11 13:33:00

Former WWE developmental talent Kyle Rasmussen, who was with FCW in 2009 and 2010, was sentenced on 8/9 to 153 days behind bars as part of a plea deal after pleading no contest to assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder after being arrested in Michigan in October 2022.  He will also serve two years of probation after being released.

Rasmussen, then 41, was in the backseat of a vehicle being driven by another vehicle and for reasons unknown, tried to take over the wheel and began strangling the driver.  The driver and Rasmussen's girlfriend, Sarah Ratlif, each fled the vehicle and tragically, his girlfriend was struck by another car and later passed away.   The other driver was later arrested.

Rasmussen wrestled nearly 30 matches for then-WWE developmental Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in 2010 as Conrad Tanner, including bouts against Big E, Wade Barrett and more.  He was released in November 2010.

Rasmussen did not pursue professional wrestling after exiting the WWE developmental system.
