Earlier today, a number of PWInsider.com Elite subscribers and readers sent word that they were receiving notices of the end of their AEW+ streaming subscription, which is operated by FITE.
This led to some speculation that perhaps the company was about to announce their own streaming platform.
That is not the case.
1 - Warner Bros Discovery holds the streaming rights for AEW in the United States.
2 - It was a technical issue on FITE's end.
FITE issued the following to PWInsider.com this afternoon:
"Some subscribers received notices about their AEW+ subscription ending in error this week. The problem has been resolved and no action is needed at this time. AEW+ is alive and well and we're looking forward to some incredible events this month in London."
