SASHA BANKS-SLAMMIVERSARY, TRINITY DISCUSSES IMPORTANCE OF IMPACT RUN & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2023-07-14 14:00:00

Mercedes Mone aka the former Sasha Banks is expected to be in attendance at tomorrow's Slammiversary PPV in Windsor, Ontario, PWInsider.com has confirmed.  The belief among those we've spoken with is that Mone is coming to the event in support of Trinity and would not likely be appearing on camera.  Mone and WWE's Tamina were in attendance when Trinity debuted for the promotion, while Trinity and Bayley traveled to New Japan Pro Wrestling's Wrestle Kingdom in Tokyo to be there for Mone when she made her first appearance for the company.

Trinity was interviewed by The New York Post yesterday discussing the Slammiversary PPV and her WWE departure came up.  Trinity commented, "There was a lot that happened.  There was a lot that was said that ultimately led to me being put in a position and feeling like that was the best for me and what I needed to do. I still believe that. I still stand on that and that’s just what it is.”

On her time with Impact, Trinity commented, "“Just being in a space where I can be heard, where my ideas can be heard, where I feel seen and valued, that is everything to me at this point in my career.  Impact has definitely helped me in every way to help me regain my confidence and giving me the platform and becoming a new home for me and just the leeway to create and trust in my ideas and trust in myself.”
