AEW DEPARTURES, PAUL WIGHT IN NY THIS WEEKEND, PUNK VS. JOE REVISITED, OWEN TOURNAMENT CONTINUES, BOWENS & MORE AEW NOTES

Fuego del Sol's AEW no compete ended on 7/1, so he's free and clear going forward.

Granden Goetzman aka Trench has also departed the company as his deal has expired.

There are a number of AEW wrestlers and staff who have been under the weather over the last week.  Our best to them.

Anthony Bowens discussed the positive crowd reaction to his remark that he was gay on AEW Rampage last week with The Daily Mail.

If you missed AEW Collision, Ethan Page was given the opportunity to cut his best promo and have his best in-ring appearance in a long time in his boiut against AEW Champion MJF.

Eternal Con, which is celebrating it tenth anniversary this summer, returned this weekend to Long Island.  AEW's Paul Wight aka former WWF and WCW World Champion The Giant/Big Show will be appearing on 7/8.

*Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Matches: Britt Baker vs. Ruby Soho.

*Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament: Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland vs. Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy.

*Kenny Omega vs. Wheeler Yuta.

*AEW Champion MJF and Adam Cole in action.

*Jon Moxley to appear.

Announced for Saturday's AEW Collision on TNT:

*AEW Tag Team Champions FTR vs. Jay White & Juice Robinson

Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Semi-Final matches:

*CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe in their first singles match since 2005.

*Ricky Starks vs. Powerhouse Hobbs.

*ROH Women's Champion Athena vs. NJPW Strong Women's Champion Willow Nightingale.
