Did Sting and Ultimate Warrior still get along after their partnership split?
I can't speak 100% on this, but I do recall that back in 2004, Warrior did a signing in NYC and not only did he not want to appear at the same time as Sting (or others booked), he didn't even want to stay at the same hotel as the other talent, so I am guessing they weren't close. Warrior didn't stay close with a lot of people from the industry beyond Jim Powers.
You announced a Nailz shoot interview, but where is it?
It's a Highspots.TV production. It will be released on their schedule. It was not something done for this website.
Any word on Royal Rumble?
Word is it'll have 30 competitors. Just kidding. There was talk of it potentially being in Orlando awhile back but as of yet, nothing is confirmed.
What's the latest on Drew McIntyre?
Nothing new that we've heard. There were some in the company confident he would be back with the current UK tour and Money in the Bank, but he's not on the tour and some of those same sources were far less confident in recent days, as we mentioned in the Elite section. If they have decided to pull the trigger and bring him back Saturday, it's being well hidden thus far.
Have you ever revealed a source? If someone told you you couldn't come to a show unless you revealed it, would you?
Only two people have ever been revealed and they said it themselves on interviews. I've never revealed one and never would. My feeling is that the second you reveal one, even in privacy to someone else, then there's no way for that third party to ever trust you and word that you can't be trusted will get out pretty fast. I have lots of people in the industry I speak to in all corners of it. I'd like to keep it that way. If I had to reveal a source to attend a show, I'll be staying home that night/weekend!
Are you going to All In: Wembley?
Currently, no. I don't feel the need to travel at least 12+ hours round trip for the show when the majority of it will be broadcast in some form. We have someone in the UK I plan to deputize so we have "boots on the ground" so to speak. I am excited about the historical nature of the show, but unless they announce the entire cast of Red Dwarf is appearing, I'm pretty sure I'll be in my office when that show takes place! I have a lot of personal responsibilities beyond what I do here on the site and I just don't see how I can balance all of that while traveling to the UK.
I saw they announced a new Starrcast. Your panels were always the best, especially Lita, Madusa and Awesome Kong panel and obviously the CM Punk stuff. Will you be returning?
I haven't been invited, so as of right now, that's a no, especially since it's Labor Day weekend and I have outside commitments usually that weekend. Thank you for the kind words though. The funny thing about the Lita panel is I was just told I was introducing her on stage and she would be doing a panel with other personalities, but there was a miscommunication and there were no other personalities. So, with zero prep, having met Lita just two minutes before we went out, we did that panel while people behind the scenes were able to get Madusa and Awesome Kong, who were both tremendous (as was Lita) to join us on stage. That entire deal was beyond, beyond improvised!
