Unless there are late changes due to the ongoing WGA Strike, the following is the schedule for next week's TV Upfronts presentation as it pertains to WWE and AEW broadcast partners:
Monday 5/15:
NBC Universal will hold their upfront at Radio City Music Hall in the morning. Monday Night Raw (and potentially WWE NXT, if the two sides come to an agreement on the continuation of NXT rights, which expire in September) would fall under this event.
FOX will hold their TV upfronts at The Manhattan Center in the afternoon. Obviously, WWE Friday Night Smackdown would be included here.
Wednesday 5/17:
Warner Bros. Discovery, AEW's television broadcast partner, will return to The Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden for their upfront presentation. It is expected that will be official announcement for the planned Saturday evening TNT Colossion series. AEW already has Dynamite on TBS and Rampage on TNT. It's entirely possible the two sides announce a new official deal that extends beyond the end of 2023 as well.
The Upfronts annually feature broadcast and cable networks presenting their plans to high-level advertising partners to secure commitments going forward into the new "fall season."
