Motorhead's cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman, which originally appeared on the 1998 ECW Soundtrack ECW: Extreme Music, is now available for streaming and on vinyl for the first time ever.
The song, which was never utilized by ECW itself as a replacement to the Metallica song at live events, was used by Pioneer Home Video, spliced over the original Metallica song for The Sandman's entrance on VHS and DVD releases in the late 1990s and early 2000s during the time period they hold the license for ECW home video releases.
The release is part of the 2023 Motorhead Day celebration, which takes place annually on 5/8 in part to pay tribute to the band's late lead singer Lenny Kilmeister. The vinyl edition can be ordered by clicking here.
Motorhead also famously performed Triple H's The Game theme song, including performing it live back at Wrestlemania X-7 in 2001.
