As we broke in the PWInsider Elite section yesterday, Vince McMahon has an office adjacent to the Gorilla Position backstage at Wrestlemania and was heard on setset before the show giving feedback and asking questions. Once the show began, Paul Levesque was on headset all night running and directing. He was the point person in charge. While Vince McMahon was there in a supervisory role, once the show started, Levesque was the person running the event.
We are told Zelina Vega was not with the LWO because Rhea Ripley wasn't in that segment due to her Charlotte Flair match, so the decision was made not to have Vega out there.
We are also told not all of the company's Producers were brought out to the show so others are doubling up their usual workload. That is in line with the company not bringing as many people in from a number of their divisions this year in order to keep costs down and obviously make the show look even more financially successful to potential buyers.
One would think the Bobby Lashley Open Challenge will play out tonight. They will also do the WWE Hall of Famers segment tonight.
Johnny Knoxville was at the show last night.
Pretty much the entire NXT roster was at the show. We are told the majority of the NXT roster is heading back to Florida today.
Konnan was backstage, as The Great Muta.
A lot of talents who weren't booked to appear were backstage last night including Sonya Deville, Xia Lii, Emma, and Madcap Moss, among many others.
