FOX and WWE have not started discussions on another media rights deal for Friday Night Smackdown, according to statements made by FOX's executive chairman and CEO Lachlan Murdoch earlier today at the Morgan Stanley conference in San Francisco, California.
Murdoch was quoted as say they are happy to have those discussions when WWE feels it is time to do so and hoped that if WWE is sold, the current management team remains intact.
