PWInsider.com is sad to report that Matt Massingham, who worked production for California's Mach-1 Wrestling as well as NWA Hollywood and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla passed away suddenly of a heart attack on Sunday evening 1/15.
Massingham was only 39 years old.on
Mach-1's announcement:
"The entire M1W family sadly mourns the sudden loss of one of our most loved and treasured crew members Matt Massingham. Matt worked hard always ready and willing to lend a hand wherever needed and always with a smile and a great sense of humor. Matt loved professional wrestling and his humility and professionalism will be remembered along with his magnanimous personality. Always quick with a joke or patient enough to lend an ear for whomever needed it, Matt’s contributions went far beyond the sometimes seemingly thankless nature of backstage production. He was a true friend to all who met him. Mach-1 extends our heartfelt thoughts and love to all of Matt’s family and friends. We love you, Matt. Your kindness and spirit will never be forgotten."
