The United Wrestling Network drew 970 paid and a little over 1,000 with comps to their first-ever event at the Bell Bank Park in Mesa, Arizona. There were fans turned away at the door and we are told the promotion is working on plans for a return to the venue.
The matches taped will air in future weeks on UWN Championship Wrestling TV, so spoilers:
*Clark Connors defeated Jakob Austin Young.
*Midnight Heat defeated Reno Scum to regain the UWN World Tag Team Titles.
*Zeda Zhang defeated Danielle Kamela aka the former Vanessa Borne in WWE NXT. Borne was a substitute for Marina Shafir, a change made in the days leading up to the show.
*UWN Heritage Champion Kevin Martenson defeated Davey Richards.
*Bad Dude Tito defeated Willie Mack, Shawn Dean & Joey Janela in a #1 Contender's match.
*Pretty Peter Avalon defeated R3 Cassus. Avalon has cut his hair.
*MLW Champion Alexander Hammerstone defeated Ortiz.
*UWN Champion Danny Limelight went to a Eddie Kingston went to a no contest when former Champion Jordan Clearwater and Invictus Khash interfered .
*Invictus Khash won the UWN Red Carpet Rumble (Royal Rumble rules).
