As we noted earlier, Jaysin Strife, who primarily wrestled, promoted and booked in the Mid-West has sadly passed away after a battle with cancer. He was only 37.
Our friends at Slam! Wrestling in Canada have published an excellent article on his life and career at this link.
A number of those who worked with him have taken to social media to pay tribute to Strife:
I met Nate (Jaysin Strife) first through @hypegotti back in the early 00s.

From there, Nate became a friend I saw often. He created such amazing thing w/@MAGNUMWRESTLING.
It was nice catching up with him at AEW early this year.
RIP Nate https://t.co/jWhWlBQo5N
Took this picture of Nate back in 2011 while strolling around England. We were two of the only American wrestlers booked on this Summer long European tour. @JaysinStrife is someone who changed the lives of many people for the better! Mine included. I will miss him dearly. pic.twitter.com/2HZirEuEpR

Godspeed, Jaysin Strife. Thank you for always doing it the right way. I never saw you treat anybody with anything other than respect, myself included. I’m glad that we met and worked together, and I’m so glad we got to catch up a couple of weeks ago. Rest well, my brother. ???? pic.twitter.com/3hYkcMnZne

One of the nicest guys I ever met. You made me feel welcome my first time flying across the country to LA. This is one of my favorite memories from the trip.
Thoughts are with your family.
You will be missed rest easy man https://t.co/boC3b7mdNj
You know...when I was a manager Bateman was trying to teach me how to strike. And I couldn't get it. Then @JaysinStrife was like, "hold on let me try"...and he taught me this method that worked

My forearms are from Strife. My big strike. It's because of him...

All my love to Jaysin Strife's family and friends. I'll remember him as someone who made people smile as "The Charismatic K-9" Yellow Dog and helped people live their dreams through Magnum Pro. ?? pic.twitter.com/wzuFOEBDXm

This man gave me a chance when female refs weren’t the “norm” in the Midwest. He trusted me with so much in his matches. We had the best drunk conversations. He saw something in me that I didn’t always see in myself and I owe this man more than he knew.

@JaysinStrife was one of the brightest minds, hardest workers and a dear friend to many in wrestling. I'm grateful to have sat under that learning tree for more moments than most.
