SOLO SIKOA TALKS MSG DEBUT, UPDATE ON WWE RETURN TO INDIA, TEDDY LONG SAYS VINCE MCMAHON SHOULD RETURN IF HE WANTS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2022-12-23 17:40:00

With Drew McIntyre missing next week's live events, there is no word when he will now be returning.  A WWE source stated that while McIntyre probably could have wrestled, the company is erring on the side of caution so he's "beyond 100%" ready to go when they do clear him.

WWE's return to India will be postponed.  We are told that WWE had production plans underway for the show and travel had already been booked, so this wasn't their call.  The plan was to broadcast the show and when the show will be rescheduled will be dependent on Sony wants the show to be rescheduled and when WWE can fit it into their own touring scheduled logistically.    There isn't even a new potential date being discussed yet.

The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa spoke with The New York Post about his Madison Square Garden debut on 12/26 at this link.  On his debut in WWE's most historic venue, Sikoa noted, "I’ve heard a lot of big things about it. I’ve seen it in movies. I’ve seen it with my dad (Rikishi) and my uncles and my brothers wrestling there. This will be my first time at the Garden, man. I’m really, really excited for it, just the experience of being in the building. It’s kind of like going to Disneyland for the first time. That’s what I’m thinking about when I’m walking into Madison Square Garden. I got this image in my head where I think it’s this big."

Sikoa noted that he's never been to the venue before.  He stated that when he got brought to the WWE Clash at the Castle event for his debut, he didn't even know he was being called up until he saw and spoke to Triple H that night.  Sikoa also spoke to The Tennessean in advance of Raw in Nashville at this link.

Seth Rollins was interviewed by Iowa's WQAD ABC channel 8 at this link.

Teddy Long told TMZ he'd like to see Vince McMahon return.  "I don’t see where there was any reason for him to step down or go away," Long told TMZ. "I mean, that’s just my opinion because I don’t know the circumstances or all the facts about what's been going on. But I just didn’t see any reason for him to step away, and if he wants to come back, let him come back.  He’s done this his whole entire life, and to be away, I would imagine that takes a lot from him not being able to involve himself into what he’s been involved in all his life."
