Impact Wrestling/IPWF “Throwback Throwdown III” Live Coverage

- Josh Matthews & Scott D’Amore are backstage and Matthews says he has sold his share of the IPWF to Walter Chestnut, D’Amore gets angry and he attacks Matthews. Chestnut appears and he says that he knows how to run a wrestling company, D’Amore says he knows how to fix things and he will go to Chestnut to get Matthews’ shares back. Chestnut says Team GLUW will beat Team IPWF, D’Amore says the winner of the match will get full control of the IPWF.

- Ross The Medical Student approaches the ring to inform the ring announcer that “Downtown” Eddie Brown won’t be here tonight because somebody slashed his car tires. Josh Matthews hits the ring and he gets the microphone, Matthews says he will be Brown’s replacement tonight in the main event.

Rapid Delivery Pete (Rich Swann) vs. Monty Moonlight (Zicky Dice)

The match begins with Moonlight trying to hit Pete with his whiskey glass filled with whiskey, Pete knocks Moonlight onto the arena floor after knocking the drink into his face. Pete waits for Moonlight to return to the ring before sending him into the top turnbuckles multiple times, Moonlight gets a drink from a fan before throwing it back at him. Pete goes after Moonlight and Moonlight gets control before sending him back into the ring, Moonlight goes for a power bomb and Pete counters with a roll up for a near fall. Moonlight continues going for power bombs and Pete continues countering with roll ups for more near falls, Moonlight goes to the middle rope and Pete gets him down before rolling him up again for a near fall. Moonlight regains control by landing some strikes on Pete, Pete fires back and a striking exchange breaks out between them. Moonlight ends the exchange by nailing Pete with a knee strike followed by a slam, Moonlight goes for an elbow drop and Pete gets out of the way. 

Moonlight grabs a pizza box from the corner and Pete avoids getting hit by it, Pete catches Moonlight with a drop toe hold onto the boxes before rolling him up for a three count.

Winner: Rapid Delivery Pete

- Bill Ding is being interviewed backstage, Ding says Jack Hammer is the only evil one again and the blood is in his hands. Ding says the construction site isn’t big enough for both of them and he will punch his card out for good.

Clock Out Match: Jack Hammer (Andrew Everett) vs. Bill Ding (Trey Miguel)

The match begins with Ding backing Hammer into the corner before letting him go free, Ding steps on Hammer’s foot before getting him in a headlock. Hammer gets free and he gets Ding in a headlock, Hammer sends Ding into the corner before landing an avalanche followed by a shoulder tackle. Hammer goes for an elbow drop and Ding gets out of the way, Ding mounts a downed Hammer while landing some strikes. Ding keeps Hammer down while attacking him with multiple hair pulls, Ding follows up by landing a forearm smash to the face of a downed Hammer. Hammer tries fighting back and Ding sends him into the corner after landing more strikes, Ding goes for a timecard and Hammer nails him with an atomic drop. Ding quickly recovers and he nails a charging Hammer with a clothesline, Ding then chokes Hammer along the middle rope. Hammer looks for the timecard and Ding hits him with a back suplex, Ding goes to the middle rope before missing a guillotine leg drop attempt. Hammer gets up before landing an elbow drop on a downed Ding, Hammer goes for his timecard and Ding gets a hold of him. Hammer gets free and he drops Dingwith some forearm sledges, Ding grabs his tape measure and Hammer still hits him with a slam.

Hammer keeps Ding in a seated position while landing shots to his shoulders, Hammer goes to the top rope and he nails Ding with the Sledge Hammer. Hammer goes for a pin and the ref reminds him that there are no pins in the match, Hammer goes for the hole punch and Ding gets him down from the ropes before a striking exchange takes place until both go down. Hammer and Ding both put their hard hats on before both hit each other with simultaneous headbutts, Ding gets the hole puncher and Hammer gets the timecard. Ding hits Hammer with the hole puncher before officially clocking out to win the match.

Winner: Bill Ding

- The $304,000 Man comes to the ring after Georgia Cobb makes her entrance, The Man says fortune does favor him and not Cobb. The Man says his client will take a bite out of Cobb tonight, The Man then introduces Wanda The Werewoman. 

Wanda the Werewoman (Savannah Evans) w/The $304,000 Man vs. Georgia Cobb (Jordynne Grace)

The match begins with Werewoman taunting Cobb before Cobb steps on her foot, a test of strength takes place and Werewoman ends it by sending Cobb into the corner. Cobb leaps off the middle rope and Werewoman catches her, Cobb gets free and she drops Werewoman with a DDT for a near fall. Cobb keeps Werewoman down before trapping her head and smashing it on the mat below for a near fall, Cobb traps Werewoman in the corner before landing a few strikes. Werewoman fights back and she rakes the back of Cobb, Werewoman traps Cobb in the corner before raking her back again. Werewoman sends Cobb out of the ring so The Man can crack her in the back with his phone, The Man sends Cobb back in the ring so Werewoman can get a near fall on her. Cobb tries fighting back and Werewoman gets her in a chin lock, Werewoman releases the hold and she stomps away on Cobb. Werewoman picks Cobb up and Cobb gets free before kicking her in the back of the leg, Cobb cracks Werewoman with multiple strikes before tripping her. 

Cobb follows up by hitting Werewoman with a leaping clothesline for a near fall, Cobb looks for a power bomb and Werewoman counters with a back body drop. Cobb again fights back by nailing Werewoman with more strikes, The Man gets on the ring apron and he grabs Cobb. Werewoman charges at them and Cobb fights back against them both, The Man hits the ring and Cobb knocks him back out after landing a Finlay Roll on Werewoman. Cobb then hits Werewoman with an elbow drop for a three count.

Winner: Georgia Cobb

- Ladybird Johnson (Jessicka Havok) is in the ring to host an edition called The Tunnel Of Love, Johnson says this is the hottest show you’ll ever watch and her guest is Tori Nailbiter (Rosemary). Johnson talks about how Nailbiter is a big shot musician, Nailbiter says she wants to become a pro wrestler now and the IPWF fans are better than her rock fans. Johnson says everybody is fighting to become Nailbiter’s manager, Sebastian Baker and Rusty Iron interrupt the interview. Baker talks about how Nailbiter stole the show at the VMA’s, Baker says Nailbiter should join him at The Hit Factory. Nailbiter starts insulting Baker before Iron grabs the microphone to say she’ll deal with a disrespectful Nailbiter. Nailbiter says Baker needs her more than she needs him, Nailbiter says her new manager will debut later when she faces Iron. 

- Dexter Petticoat interviews Brian Bonecrunchin’ (Brian Myers), a video package shows Bonecrunchin’s partner allegedly being taken out by unknown forces. Bonecrunchin’ says GI Broski will not be able to compete for another month, Bonecrunchin’ says he couldn’t find a new partner and he’ll compete alone tonight.

- The Paperboy gets the microphone before questioning if anybody in the arena can read, The Editor In Chief gets the microphone to talk about the injury to GI Broski before calling him a chicken. 

The Sunday Morning Express (The Editor In Chief - Chris Sabin & The Paperboy - Jack Price) vs. Brian Bonecrunchin’ (Brian Myers) 

The match begins with Bonecrunchin’ backing Paperboy into the corner, Bonecrunchin’ looks for a clean break and Paperboy kicks him in the midsection before getting him in a headlock. Bonecrunchin’ gets free and Paperboy drops him with a shoulder tackle, Bonecrunchin’ fights back and he nails Paperboy with a drop kick. Bonecrunchin’ focuses his attack on the arm of Paperboy before Paperboy lands some strikes, Chief tags in and he cracks Bonecrunchin’ with some more strikes. Bonecrunchin’ fights back and he nails Chief with a hip toss followed by a drop kick, Bonecrunchin’ then hits Chief with an elbow drop for a near fall. Bonecrunchin’ stands Chief up before cracking him with some jabs, Paperboy interferes and Bonecrunchin’ drops him. Chief sends Bonecrunchin’ into the ropes before Paperboy nails him with a newspaper, Paperboy tags in and he nails a trapped Bonecrunchin’ with a middle rope axe handle smash for a near fall. Paperboy keeps Bonecrunchin’ down while applying a chin lock to him, Bonecrunchin’ gets free and Paperboy chokes him on the middle rope. 

Chief interferes and he hits Bonecrunchin’ with a newspaper so Paperboy can get a near fall on him, Chief tags in and he double teams Bonecrunchin’ alongside Paperboy for a near fall. Chief briefly chokes Bonecrunchin’ with his overalls strap while the ref is distracted, Paperboy traps Bonecrunchin’ in the octopus stretch while reading a newspaper. Paperboy tags in and Bonecrunchin’ fights back by dropping both foes with a double clothesline, The Dynamic Dude Shane Douglas hits the ring and he gets the tag from Bonecrunchin’. Douglas quickly starts cleaning house against both opponents, Douglas hits Paperboy with a belly to belly suplex for a three count.

Winners: Brian Bonecrunchin’ & Shane Douglas

- A video package for The Leaping Lords airs, both of them promise to win the IPWF Tag Team Championships. 

- Monsieur Baguette makes his way to the ring and he gets the microphone, Baguette says he comes from Paris, France. Baguette says a bunch of stuff in French while the fans chant “USA,” Baguette calls Winston Salem, North Carolina dump and the people are nothing. Baguette says he will teach his opponent a lesson tonight.

Monsieur Baguette (Speedball Bailey) vs. “Ornery” Otis Oats (Deaner)

The match begins with Baguette attacking Oats as he was starting a “USA” chant, Oats fights back and he nails Baguette with a hip toss. Oats starts attacking the arm of a downed Baguette, Oats lands some knee drops to the arm of a downed Baguette. Oats picks Baguette up and Baguette gets free before leaving the ring, Baguette returns to the ring and he pokes Oats in the eyes before landing a series of strikes. Baguette follows up by dropping Oats with a flying forearm strike, Oats gets up and Baguette nails him with more strikes. Oats fights back and he nails a charging Baguette with a drop kick, Oats then cracks Baguette with some strikes of his own. Oats follows up by hitting Baguette with an airplane spin for a near fall, Baguette quickly exits the ring again and he throws a broom into the ring. Baguette hits Oats with a loaded baguette behind the referee’s back for a three count.

Winner: Monsieur Baguette

- Otto Ottoman is ringside and he wants to address something said by Dexter Petticoat, Ottoman says Petticoat is too blind to see anything. Ottoman then brings out Tommy Dreamer, Dreamer calls ECW a “heck of a territory” in Philadelphia. Dreamer talks about being laid out at The Omni by Pelvis Wesley, Dreamer talks about how Wesley and Colonel Corn are running this territory and how they put a bounty on him. Dreamer says he will leave the IPWF if he loses tonight, but he’ll get five minutes with Colonel Corn if he wins. 

If Tommy Dreamer Loses, He Is Out Of The IPWF - If Tommy Dreamer Wins, He Gets 5 Minutes With Colonel Corn - Tommy Dreamer vs. Pelvis Wesley (Heath Miller) w/Colonel Corn (John E. Bravo)

The match begins with Wesley getting Dreamer in a headlock, Dreamer gets free and Wesley retreats to the ring apron. Wesley returns to the ring and he attacks the arm of Dreamer, Dreamer recovers and he exchanges arm holds with Wesley until Wesley goes to the ropes. Wesley returns and he again attacks the arm of Dreamer, Dreamer gets free and Wesley leaves the ring again. Dreamer leaves the ring and he attacks Wesley, Dreamer grabs a plastic container and he threatens to hit Wesley with it. Dreamer releases the item and he goes after Corn before Wesley attacks him, Wesley then drops Dreamer crotch first on the barricade. Wesley traps Dreamer on the ring apron before landing an elbow smash on him, Wesley returns to the ring and he chokes Dreamer on the middle rope. Wesley then distracts the ref so Corn can illegally attack Dreamer, Wesley nails Dreamer with a slam for a near fall. Wesley keeps Dreamer down while applying a chin lock to him, Dreamer fights back and Wesley nails him with another slam. Wesley goes for a leg drop and Dreamer gets out of the way, Dreamer then hits Wesley with a clothesline followed by strikes in the corner.

Dreamer gets out of the corner and he cracks Wesley with some more strikes, Dreamer then hits Wesley with an elbow drop before Corn gets on the ring apron. Wesley then hits a distracted Dreamer with a neck breaker for a near fall, Corn returns to the ring apron and he nearly punches Wesley by accident before Dreamer lands a DDT on Wesley for a three count.

Winner: Tommy Dreamer

Tommy Dreamer vs. Colonel Corn w/Pelvis Wesley

The match begins with Corn attacking a downed Dreamer before choking him on the middle rope, Corn traps Dreamer in the corner while landing shoulder thrusts to his midsection. Pelvis Wesley interferes and he attacks Dreamer behind the ref’s back, Corn applies a camel clutch to Dreamer before landing seated sentons on his injured back. Dreamer gets angry and he cracks Corn with some strikes of his own, Dreamer then hits Corn with a big boot before Wesley interferes again. Corn goes for a brass knuckles shot and Dreamer counters with a cobra clutch, Wesley interferes again and Corn hits Dreamer with the brass knuckles for a three count.

Winner: Colonel Corn w/Pelvis Wesley

- The Auto-Bodies are backstage and they talk about their upcoming match with Volcanic Activity, The Auto-Bodies say their opponents have no chance against them tonight.

The Auto-Bodies (Busty Transmission - ODB & Smokie Muffler - Mickie James) vs. Volcanic Activity (Lucy Luau - Gisele Shaw & Tina Tiki - Tasha Steelz)

The match begins with The Auto-Bodies jumping their opponents from behind, Volcanic Activity fight back to clear the ring. Tiki battles Transmission in the ring and she tries getting Transmission to dance, Tiki looks for a German suplex and Transmission knocks her down before eating a drop kick. Muffler tags in and Luau gets the tag a short time later, Luau avoids the strikes from Muffler before landing a middle rope cross body block for a near fall. Tiki tags into the match and she double teams Muffler alongside Luau for a near fall, Muffler fights back and Tiki drops her with a head scissors takedown. Transmission interferes and that allows Muffler to gain control, Transmission tags in and she works over a downed Tiki. Transmission follows up by nailing Tiki with a slam for a near fall, Muffler tags back in and she kicks Tiki in the midsection. Muffler chokes Tiki on the middle rope before landing a few strikes, Transmission tags back in and she trades strikes with Tiki. Transmission and Tiki both go down after a double flying hair pull, Muffler and Luau are tagged into the match.

Luau quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Luau then hits both foes with a double neck breaker for a near fall. Muffler fights back and she eats an avalanche a short time later, Luau drops Muffler in the corner before landing multiple butt smashes for another near fall. Transmission grabs a wrench and Tiki takes it from her before landing a cutter, Muffler hits Luau with another wrench for a three count.

Winners: The Auto-Bodies (Busty Transmission - ODB & Smokie Muffler - Mickie James)

- Team IPWF is interviewed backstage, Giuseppe Coveli Sr. says Walter Chestnut is a piece of crap and his son will try his hardest tonight when teaming with Team IPWF. Members of Team IPWF believe it was Chestnut who slashed Downtown’s tires, they say that Chestnut isn’t fit to run the IPWF.

IPWF Exciting Division Title Tournament Finals: Johnny Swinger vs. Biff Knuckles (John Skyler) vs. Keaton Fox (Jason Hotch)

The match begins with Knuckles dropping Swinger with a shot to the midsection, Knuckles knocks Fox into Swinger to trip him up. Fox leaves the ring and Knuckles gives chase until he gets tired, Fox returns to the ring and Swinger eventually crotches both of them on the top rope before sending both out of the ring. Swinger gets to the ring apron before leaping off onto both opponents, Knuckles returns and he drops Swinger neck first on the top rope. Knuckles gets Fox back into the ring before hitting him with his own running shoe, Knuckles steals Fox’s shoe and he puts it into his backpack. Knuckles then stomps away on both of his downed opponents, Knuckles then gets a near fall on Fox before giving him a noogie. Knuckles applies the claw to Swinger and Swinger fights his way to freedom, Swinger gets the shoe from Knuckles’ backpack before giving it back to Fox. Swinger and Fox double team Knuckles for a near fall, Fox turns on Swinger and he hits him with a back breaker.

Fox leaps off the middle rope and Swinger gets his foot up, Knuckles returns and Swinger drops him before applying a figure four to him. Swinger catches Fox in a small package while holding Knuckles in the figure four for the three count.

Winner: Johnny Swinger, your new IPWF Exciting Division Champion

- Highlights are shown of what went down earlier at The Tunnel Of Love.

Rusty Iron (Gia Miller) w/Sebastian Baker vs. Tori Nailbiter (Rosemary) w/Ricky Morton

The match begins with Nailbiter backing Iron into the corner before letting her go free, Iron then backs Nailbiter into the corner before giving her a shove. Nailbiter talks with the crowd and Iron attacks her from behind, Nailbiter drops Iron before landing some strikes. Nailbiter and Iron roll around in the ring while in a catfight-like situation, Nailbiter traps Iron in the corner before landing headbutts. Nailbiter and Irons both go down in a daze before Nailbiter gets a near fall on a pin attempt, Iron recovers and she gets Nailbiter in a chin lock. Baker interferes and he grabs the leg of Nailbiter behind the ref’s back, Iron drops Nailbiter again before reapplying a chin lock to her. Baker interferes again and he attacks Nailbiter behind the ref’s back, Iron follows up by hitting Nailbiter with a series of avalanches. Baker gets the microphone for a short time to mock the crowd, Nailbiter fights back and both women go down after a double clothesline. Nailbiter avoids a charging Iron before landing multiple clotheslines, Nailbiter then hits Iron with a slam. 

Nailbiter goes for a sharp shooter and Iron eventually gets to the ropes, Baker hands Iron a big nail and she tries attacking Nailbiter with it. Morton attacks Baker and Nailbiter sends Iron into the corner, Nailbiter hits Iron with a top rope high cross body for a three count.

Winner: Tori Nailbiter (Rosemary) w/Ricky Morton

- Otto Ottoman brings out Sonny Sanders (Sami Callihan) to the ringside area, Ottoman mocks Dexter Petticoat before Sanders gets the microphone to say he is in a bad mood. Sanders issues a warning to the crowd and he is done being disrespected, Sanders talks about how DJ 2 Large broke his jaw. Petticoat comes to ringside and he makes threats to Ottoman, Petticoat attacks Ottoman and he chases him backstage. Sanders grabs the microphone again and he reintroduces himself to the people, Sanders then brings out “The Real Nature Boy” Buck Humphrey and he comes out with Baby Doll. Humphrey says he has Baby Doll with him and he plans on turning the arena into Humphrey Country.

DH 2Large (Moose) vs. Buck Humphrey w/Sonny Sanders & Baby Doll

The match begins with 2Large sending Humphrey to the mat below, Humphrey charges at 2Large and he gets dropped with a shoulder block. 2Large follows up by landing a shoulder tackle on Humphrey, 2Large gets Humphrey in a full nelson while forcing him to dance. Humphrey fights back and he attacks 2Large with a few chops, Humphrey taunts 2Large and 2Large chases him around the arena floor before hitting on Baby Doll. Humphrey returns and he slaps 2Large before the chase begins again, 2Large chases Humphrey back into the ring before making him miss an elbow drop. Sanders distracts 2Large on the arena floor and Humphrey drops him with a chop block, Humphrey gets 2Large in the ring before smashing his leg on the ring apron. Humphrey traps 2Large in the corner before landing a chop, 2Large fights back and Sanders drops him with a tennis racket shot to the leg behind the ref’s back. Humphrey recovers and he attacks the injured leg of 2Large, Humphrey keeps 2Large down before applying a figure four to him. 2Large reverses the figure four and Humphrey quickly gets to the ropes, 2Large continues fighting back while Humphrey lands more strikes. 

2Large drops Humphrey a few times before landing an avalanche in the corner, 2Large then hits Humphrey with a slam. 2Large goes for a leg drop and Humphrey gets out of the way, Humphrey goes to the top rope and 2Large tosses him down to the mat below. 2Large almost hits the ref with a forearm strike, Humphrey gets some brass knuckles and he hits 2Large with them for a near fall. Doll distracts the referee and Sanders hits the ring, Humphrey gets the tennis racket and he accidentally hits Sanders with it. 2Large then hits Humphrey with a discus lariat for a three count.

Winner: DJ 2Large

Rival Survival: Team IPWF (Frank The Butcher - Rhino, Tim Burr - Josh Alexander, Colt McCoy - Eddie Edwards & Giuseppe Scoveli Jr. - Josh Matthews) w/Giuseppe Scovelli Sr. (Scott D’Amore) vs. Team GLUW (Manfred The Mad Mammal - The Beer City Bruiser, The Devil’s Demon - Crowbar, Neptune - Mahabli Shera & Lord Humongous) w/Walter Chestnut

The match begins with an all out brawl between everybody in the match, Team GLUW clears the ring of everybody besides Burr. Mammal bites the head of Burr before tagging Demon in so he can nail Burr with a headbutt, Demon keeps Burr down while ripping away at his face. Burr fights back and he sends Demon into the corner, Demon recovers and he rakes the eyes of Burr. Butcher tags in and he drops Demon a few times before landing a clothesline, Neptune interferes and Butcher quickly takes care of him. Humongous tags in and Butcher tries dropping him with clotheslines, Neptune interferes and that allows Humongous to get a three count on Butcher (Eliminated: Frank The Butcher). The action resumes with McCoy going after Humongous and Mammal interferes by biting his hand, Humongous attacks McCoy again before Mammal bites his hand again. McCoy fights back and he attacks the arm of Humongous, McCoy tricks Mammal into biting the hand of Humongous. 

Burr hits the ring and he works with McCoy to attack Humongous, Humongous goes for a double choke slam before eating a few chop blocks from Burr. McCoy then hits Humongous with a bulldog, Scoveli Jr. tags in and he shoves Humongous a few times. Scoveli Jr. goes for a springboard kick and he winds up injuring his ankle, Humongous then hits Scoveli Jr. with a leg drop and Scoveli Jr. leaves the ring after Burr tags in. Mammal tags in and he attacks a distracted Burr from behind,  Neptune tags in and he nails a cornered Burr with an avalanche followed by some strikes. Burr fights back and he rolls up Neptune for a three count (Eliminated: Neptune), the match resumes with Demon hitting the ring to attack Burr. Demon traps Burr in the corner before choking him, Burr fights back and he manages to tag McCoy into the ring, McCoy quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. McCoy then hits Demon with an atomic drop followed by a jaw breaker, Burr interferes and he hits Demon with The Axe so McCoy can get a three count on him (Eliminated: The Devil’s Demon). 

The match resumes with Chestnut interfering and choking a downed McCoy, Humongous tags in and he applies a nerve hold to a downed McCoy. McCoy fights back before managing to tag Burr into the match, Burr quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Burr traps Mammal in the corner before hitting him with The Chainsaw, Burr leaps off the ropes and Mammal nails him with a right. Burr grabs his axe and he hits Mammal with it before being disqualified by the ref (Eliminated: Tim Burr), the action resumes with McCoy getting a near fall on a downed Mammal. Mammal bites McCoy before tagging Humongous back into the match, Humongous cracks a cornered McCoy with some strikes. Mammal tags in and he gets sent out of the ring, Mammal returns to the ring and he double teams McCoy alongside Humongous. McCoy fights back and he drops both opponents with a double missile drop kick, Scoveli Sr. hops on the ring apron to replace his son in the match. Scoveli Sr. tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team, McCoy hits the ring and a brawl breaks out between both teams in the ring.

McCoy accidentally takes out the referee before Mammal drops Scoveli Sr., Humongous accidentally takes out Mammal with a punch before Scoveli Sr. and McCoy land double stunners as Scoveli Sr. makes the double three count (Eliminated: Lord Humongous & Manfred The Mammal). 

Winners: Team IPWF (Frank The Butcher - Rhino, Tim Burr - Josh Alexander, Colt McCoy - Eddie Edwards & Giuseppe Scoveli Jr. - Josh Matthews) w/Giuseppe Scovelli Sr. (Scott D’Amore)

After the match, Giuseppe Scovelli Sr. takes out Walter Chestnut before a ceremonial three count is made. Team IPWf then destroys the Team GLUW banner as the show comes to a close.
