Do you see anyone utilizing a six-sided ring again?
I don't see it ever being used consistently on a national basis again, but perhaps on the independent level.
If you could suggest a woman to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, who would it be?
There are a LOT of women who are deserving, but I'd suggest Velvet McIntyre and Penny Banner off the top of my head.
Have you ever lost sources because you've had to write things about them they weren't happy about?
Unfortunately, it certainly has happened, both because of writing about backstage stories that we felt were covered fairly and they felt otherwise as well as covering arrests in the past. It's a sad part of the job and I've learned not to take it personally over the years.
Was Lou Thesz older than Ric Flair when he had his final match?
Thesz' last match was wrestled at the age of 74 in Japan against Masahiro Chono in December 1990. Ric Flair was 73, so Thesz was the older of the two. If Flair wrestled after 2/25/24, he'd be older.
When there are hair vs. hair matches, is it a case of one of the wrestlers being asked if they would shave their head or is it a case of they want to do it, so they get an extra payday out of it?
It's a mixture of both, depending on the situation. In some cases, wrestlers want to shave their heads. In some, the promoters will negotiate a price for them to lose their hair. Years ago when Raven lost his hair, it was a case of just wanting to do that storyline and match. Initially, he planned to lose it vs. CM Punk in ROH but Impact stepped in and stated contractually he couldn't do it outside of their company, so it happened there instead.
