By Mike Johnson on 2022-11-12 20:41:00

Wrestling Revolver are presenting "Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em" on FITE+ from Dayton, Ohio tonight.  Results from the events saw:

*Speeball Mike Bailey pinned Jake Crist with a Buzzsaw Kick to the head.

*Allie Katch defeated Jessicka with her feet on the ropes.

*Brock Anderson with Arn Anderson pinned Damian Chambers with a spinebuster after Arn drilled Chambers with a right hand.  Brock responded to Chambers' open challenge.

*Zachary Wentz defeated Bandido and Ace Austin.  Wentz replaced KC Navarro who was scheduled to compete but instead did commentary as he was not able to compete.

*Steve Maclin defeated Mance Warner, The 1 Called Manders and Crash Jaxon in a Four Way Mayhem.  Maclin cut a promo saying he should be on his honeymoon right now but "this was a hell of a lot of fun."

Intermission.

*Rich Swann pinned Brian Pillman Jr. in an absolutely tremendous match that may have been the best singles bout of Pillman Jr.'s career.

*Swerve Strickland defeated Myron Reed.

*AEW Champion Jon Moxley came to the ring for a promo.  He thanked the fans for the energy they share with the wrestlers.  He said that this is a special place and a special promotion.  He said he has a lot of plans for the rest of this year and next and they are going to be happening here.  He said this is going to be the new home of the best independent wrestling in the world.  He praised the talents on the show but Damian Chambers came out.  Chambers took the mic   He said he was tired of these second generation wrestlers who can't do sh** but rely on their Daddies to get them over, referencing Brock Anderson from earlier.  He said this brings him to Moxley, but Sami Callihan ran out and tossed him into the ring.  Moxley nailed him with the Death Rider.

*Alex Shelley defeated Trey Miguel in an Iron Man Match for the The Revolver Remix Championship after the bout was restarted.  This was a HELL of a match with 30 minutes of great wrestling, to the point I forgot to take notes because it was so entertaining.  Shelley got super aggressive and tilted towards the dark side the longer they went.  In the final minutes, Miguel was working over Shelley with elbows.  He reversed Shellshock and reversed it into a pinfall, tying up the match at 2 falls apiece.  Shelley went to use the championship belt but was stopped and nailed with a DDT.  Miguel nailed a Meteroa to make it 3-2 with five minutes left.    Miguel went back to the top but Shelley avoided him and nailed Sliced Bread #2 and locked on a Border City Stretch, but Trey turned him over into a pinfall combination, making it 4-2.   Miguel then rolled him up, making it 5-2.  Shelley nailed a superkick and Shellshock, making it 5-3, and locked on the Border City Stretch again, forcing a tap.

5-4 with a little over three minutes to go.  Shelley kicked Miguel low and small packaged him to tie it up again with just under three minutes left.  They grappled and Trey reversed the low blow favor, kicking Shelley.  Trey grabbed the belt but thought better of it.  Shelley locked in the Stretch but Miguel worked his way out of it and turned it into his own Stretch.  Shelley tapped, so Trey was back ahead with 6-5, but incensed, refused to release the hold, so the referee DQ'd him, so they were back to 6-6 with 21 seconds left.  The time ran out with the competitors exhausted on the map.  It was a legit 30 minutes.

They announced draw, but Miguel said, "F*** that" and that he didn't come here not to win.  He demanded they start the match again.  They did and they began slugging it out in the center of the ring.  They went back and forth until Shelley avoided a dropkick and the referee was wiped out in the corner.  Shelley nailed Miguel with the title belt.  He nailed Shellshock and covered Miguel for the title.

Shelley took the mic and told the crowd they lost the privilege to see him as champion and that the fans were trash and he was leaving.  He exited.  Miguel, after recovering, took the ring mic and said Dayton is and always be the home of the Rascals and thanked everyone for coming out tonight.

There was some really damn good wrestling on this show and it is well worth checking out on FITE+.

They announced a return date on 12/3 titled "Season Finale."
