What happened to the WWE on A&E programming?
It's slated to return in early 2023, perhaps as soon as January. There are documentaries on Dusty Rhodes, Kane, Ricky Steamboat, The Iron Sheik and many others in the works.
It's been a year since Sinclair decided to shut down ROH, so what happened to Joe Koff?
Koff still works for Sinclair in a high level executive position. He was not hired to run ROH. ROH was acquired FOR Koff. While Sinclair opted to sell ROH to Tony Khan, Koff continued on with his Sinclair duties. He actually had more on his plate because of ROH. His primary role in Sinclair was not ROH and it never was.
Do you think Sinclair ever runs pro wrestling companies again?
If you mean programming, they have WOW right now. If you mean investing into another company outright, I don't see them doing it anytime soon and unless Joe Koff is involved, I don't see the care needed being there consistently.
Who were the last holders of the WCW belts when the company closed?
The champions at the end were WCW World champion Booker T (who won the title on the company's final Monday Nitro broadcast), Booker was also the U.S. champion at the time the company shuttered operations, WCW World Tag Team champions Chuck Palumbo and Sean O' Haire, WCW Cruiserweight champ Shane Helms, WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team champions Billy Kidman and Rey Mysterio Jr.
Why would AEW bring Mike Tyson to Atlantic City of all places?
Uh, Tyson had some pretty important fights in AC. It's very much a homecoming for him.
Is Tyson coming back to wrestle?
I think if they could come up with the right angle or spectacle, Tyson would be open to it. He loves pro wrestling.
