HUGE AEW INTEREST IN TWO FREE AGENTS AFTER THIS PAST WEEK'S TV

By Mike Johnson on 2022-09-30 12:13:00

There is a report making the rounds attributed to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer that former ROH Champion Bandido was offered an AEW contract after this past Wednesday's Dynamite.  PWInsider.com can independently confirm that is the case and the company wants to sign Bandido.  Tony Khan was seen enthusiatically hugging and greeting Bandido on the AEW entrance stage after his match with ROH Champion Chris Jericho in Philly after Dynamite went off the air.

PWInsider.com is also told that after his match against Jon Moxley this past Wednesday in Philadelphia as well, there is massive interest in bringing in Juice Robinson as often as possible and making him a regular for the company.  Robinson works regularly for New Japan Pro Wrestling as a member of Bullet Club but I don't know whether he's contractually signed there or not.

A GoFundMe Campaign has been launched for the family of Dennis Bowe, who works as an audio technician for AEW after his home was lost due to the effects of Hurricane Ian in Florida.  It was noted that during the storm, Bowe's home caught power after a power surge and even after the local fire department put the fire out, it caught fire after a second power surge.  Bowe's family are safe and had evacuated after the initial fire.  Bowe was on the road for AEW at the time and returned home to find the home destroyed.  A number of AEW talents and staff have already contributed, helping the campaign already double its initial goal today.  To contribute to the campaign and assist Bowe's family, click here
