It's Wednesday Night! And that means I hope my friends in Florida are safe. Hurricane Ian is no joke. On the AEW front we are LIVE. Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and Taz are on the call as AEW Dynamite is on the air from Philadelphia.
It's time for a celebration! The Jericho Appreciation Society, including Daniel Garcia, come out to honor the new Ring of Honor world champion Chris Jericho. The pizza guy is in the ring. Angelo Parker imitates Roman Reigns by telling the crowd to appreciate them. Matt Menard takes credit for Pizza Guy being there. Anna Jay tells the crowd that none of them get pizza. Philly wants pizza. Instead they get Jericho, who reminds them that they can't have pizza. Jericho runs down ROH's past. It's now Ring of Jericho and he's put the exclamation point on his win last week with a title defense over Bandido later tonight.
Jericho introduces ROH Pure champion Daniel Garcia. He gives Garcia a gift. It's a purple bucket hat. Garcia throws it down and punches out the Pizza Guy. He tells Jericho he's not a sports entertainer. He gets cut off in the midst of quitting the JAS. Jericho asks him one more time if he's a pro wrestler or a sports entertainer.
Bryan Danielson comes out. He tells Jericho that he shouldn't tell Garcia who he should be. Danielson tells him to be whatever he wants to be, he's a grown man. Jericho tells Danielson to shut his mouth. Garcia, sick of Jericho telling him he owns him, grabs the mic and tells Jericho he doesn't have to be anyone he doesn't want to be. BTW Pizza Guy Luigi is still unconscious. Garcia asks the crowd if they want to see Garcia and Danielson vs. Jericho and Guevara. Menard is not happy and gets in Danielson's face.
Conveniently, Danielson is allowed to make any match he wants. He challenges Menard to a match here and now.
William Regal has joined the booth.
Matt Menard vs. Bryan Danielson
Menard shoves Danielson. Danielson with an uppercut. They brawl in the corner. Chops by Danielson followed by kicks. Shoulder tackle and an arm drag by Danielson into a stomp on the elbow. Menard with punches and chops as he gets back to his feet. Danielson with a uppercut and a boot to the face. Menard clotheslines Danielson to the floor as we got to commercial.
Welcome back and Menard delivers a clothesline out of the corner. Standing clothesline for 2 by Menard. Boots to the face by Menard. Chops by Menard. Danielson fires up. Danielson chops back into his side kicks. Running elbow by the American Dragon. Running dropkicks in the corner by Danielson. Roundhouse kicks by Danielson. Parker pulls Menard out and pulls him out of the way of a Danielson charge. DDT by Parker and he rolls Danielson back in. Powerbomb for 2 by Menard. Claudio Castagnoli comes out and manhandles Parker back to the locker room. Busaiku knee by Danielson into the Lebell lock for the tap.

We see highlights of Jon Moxley's AEW World Title victory last week. We hear comments from Juice Robinson ahead of their title eliminator later tonight.
We see highlights of the last few weeks of MJF. Wheeler Yuta storms out with a mic. He's angry. He's ticked off about MJF putting his hands on Schiavone last week. He wants MJF tonight. MJF emerges and runs down Philly and Yuta. Philly does not appreciate it. Yuta doesn't care about MJF and just wants to leave him in a pool of blood. The Firm, in the form of the Gunns, come out to back up MJF. They will meet 1 on 1 next week in Washington. He's on his way to the skybox to watch Moxley.
Darby Allin vs. Jay Lethal next week on Dynamite.
AEW World Title Eliminator: Jon Moxley vs. Juice Robinson
Juice attacks as Moxley comes over the railing to the ring. Headbutts by Robinson, he rolls Moxley into the ring. Clothesline by Moxley, he sends Juice into the guard rail. Moxley with a suplex.
We see MJF in a skybox.
Moxley grabs Juice and tosses him back in the ring. The announcers are really putting over that MJF can cash in his chip anytime he wants. Juice and Moxley trade forearms. Moxley blocks the Left Hand of God. Juice with an eye rake and a clothesline in the corner. Lariat by Moxley. Robinson shoves Moxley to the floor. Cannonball on the rail by Juice as we go to commercial.
We're back and it's Juice headbutting a busted open Moxley. He misses a cannonball on a chair. Tope suicida by Moxley. They each connect with clotheslines. Ankle lock by Moxley, Juice makes the ropes. Moxley goes for punches but Juice goes for the eyes and nails a powerbomb for 2. Juice with Pulp Friction for 2. Regal knee by Moxley into stomps. Armbar by Moxley and Juice immediately taps.

Here comes the Hangman to confront the champion. They go nose to nose until MJF cuts them off. Wheeler Yuta storms the box and punches MJF and sends him into the general seating area. Security stops him from further damage.
We see a preview of Chris Jericho and Bandido later tonight.
Saraya comes out and says she's back. Philadelphia missed her. She says she's damaged but not broken. She declares herself the Revolution of AEW. She says she's nervous in front of the crowd. She wants the entire women's division to come out and Toni Storm, Willow Nightingale, Athena and 2 others come out. Saraya introduces the crowd to Toni Storm. Here comes Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, Rebel and Penelope Ford to rebuke her. Saraya said something the censors consider a no-no.
This is doing Toni Storm no good at all. Baker brings out tonight's challenger. Saraya interrupts her entrance and declares tonight's match will be a lumberjack match.

Saraya has joined the desk. Arm twist by Storm into a headlock. Hammerlock by Deeb, Storm reverses it and Storm with an armbar lateral press. Facelock by Storm, headlock by Deeb. Shoulder tackle by Storm, Deeb goes to the floor and gets tossed back in. Chops by Deeb, forerarms by Storm. Champ sets Deeb up on the top rope. Deeb with a cross body for 2. Deeb tosses Storm out and she gets stomped by the lumberjills. We go to commercial.
We're back and Storm with a tackle and goes to the top and nails a cross body for 2. Serena bails but Serena gets thrown back in. Serena with a rollup for 2. Storm blocks a dragon screw and they trade near falls. Crucifix by Deeb. she cranks down on the neck. Hayter pulls Storm out of the ring and now the lumberjills are brawling. Serenity Lock by Deeb. Storm makes the ropes. Storm with a backdrop. Storm to the top and nails a cross body. Half crab by Deeb off of the reversal. Storm escapes and hits a hip attack. Storm with Storm Zero for 2. Deeb with a dragon screw. Deeb to the top. Storm meets her and hits an avalanche piledriver off the 2nd rope for the pin.

We're back and Bandido sends Jericho to the apron. Thrust kick by Bandido. Delayed vertical suplex by Bandido. We're over a minute into the delay. Big frog splash for 2 by Bandido. Philly is firmly behind the challenger. Bodyslam and a kick by Jericho. Chops by Jericho. Jericho tries a superplex but Bandido shoves him off. Codebreaker by Jericho for 2. Action spills to the apron. Hurancanrana by Bandido as we go back to commercial.
We're back and Jericho nails a kick and an elbow. Springboard sunset flip by Bandido for 2. Bandido misses a splash and Jericho with a Lionsault for 2. Crucufix bomb by Bandido for 2. Jericho blocks a GTS and nails the Walls of Jericho. Bandido makes the ropes. Jericho with stomps. He suplexes Bandido back into the ring.
