If Paige wrestles, when should it happen and against who? How often should she wrestle?
I think it's pretty obvious the idea is Paige vs. Britt Baker. I'd guess it happens at Full Gear unless something unforeseen occurs. I wouldn't have her wrestling anywhere but PPVs.
Do you think we'll see the canceled Stephanie McMahon and Iron Sheik books put back into circulation now that Vince McMahon isn't in charge?
It's possible but I don't see it happening anytime soon. My guess is the Sheik book, which was pulled for being too racy for WWE after it was completed, likely wouldn't see the light of day. The Stephanie book is always possible if they update it, but then they have the issue of they'd have to cover the Vince McMahon issue, which I don't see anything WWE-approved wanting to do.
Why does the original ECW DVD releases not have the right music or have entrances cut?
The only songs Pioneer acquired the right to were New Jack's theme, which is Dr. Dre and Ice Cube "Natural Born Killaz" and The Motorhead cover of "Enter Sandman" which first appeared on an ECW CD. Beyond that, many of the entrances on the DVDs were either removed or had the music tracks removed due to rights concerns.
Any word on a Jeff Hardy return?
Tony Khan stated he would be allowed to return once he finishes rehab and shows he can maintain his sobriety. I don't think it's fair to put a clock on that, so no.
In the early 1990s, it seemed like a lot of wrestlers and talent left the WWF for WCW. Bobby Heenan, Mean Gene, Ric Flair, Rick Rude, etc. It seemed like before the McMahon steroid trial a lot of people were leaving. Was all this a coincidence or were people leaving WWF before the trial? If not could you elaborate on why some of these people left or were fired in that era?
Each one was a separate instance, so we'll review each one.
Rick Rude left WWF after he was injured. At the time, WWF was still advertising him in main event bouts for house shows, so his name was drawing the gate, yet he felt he wasn't being paid commensurate with the money made on the shows while he was hurt. When his deal expired, he signed with WCW, debuting in October 1991.
Ric Flair asked for his release and got it in January 1993. He and McMahon had an agreement where if he wasn't going to be used as a main event player, he could leave. Shockingly enough, when he was moved out of main events, McMahon kept his word to Flair.
Bobby Heenan and Gene Okerlund left in 1995 during a period where WCW was doling out top dollar contracts and health insurance as well. WWF at that point didn't want to match the offers, so each left.
