Andy Warhol once said “In the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes”. Watching AEW, I feel like that’s true. Everyone will be a champion. There are so many titles in AEW, I feel that sooner or later, any and every wrestler will get a title. It seems so odd to me.

I agree.  There are too many belts in AEW.

If you are CM Punk and they fire you but don’t fire Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, what would you?

I tweeted this yesterday.

Here’s the deal, the EVPs escalated the situation.  Officers in a company are supposed to do the opposite.  If I am Punk and they fire me, but fire them too?  I wouldn’t do anything.  If they fire me and keep them, I am suing the Khans for every penny I can get from them.  If I am Ace Steel and they fire me because I defending my wife, who was on crutches, from three violent wrestlers, who also happen to be OFFICERS IN THE COMPANY, I am suing every Khan that I possibly can, Tony, Shad, Chaka, Nick, Wrath Of, all of them.  OK, I am actually just suing Shad and Tony.

Who was Punk referring to when he said someone wouldn’t take advice from smart veterans?

That was Hangman Adam Page.  He said it in an interview.  I couldn’t believe Page said it when he did.  Even if you think that way, which is stupid in my opinion, to say “I won’t take advice from Jim Ross or Dean Malenko or Mark Henry or Arn Anderson etc.” is just a stupid thing to say.  I like Page but he is not Roman Reigns.  There is room for improvement and he should be open to that if he wants to improve.

Why didn’t Tony Khan stop Punk from saying the things that he said at the scrum?

Only he can answer that but if it were me, I would be happy as hell that the BS going on in the shadows is now out in the public.  The childishness that is going on with some of the AEW wrestlers is hurting the company and needs to stop.  For instance, if Kenny Omega is upset that over 200,000 people turned off the show for his return, he can do one of two things.  He can blame Punk for being better than he is or he can try to make himself more appealing to the fans.  It’s up to him.  If the Young Bucks are mad that people care way more about Mox than they do about them and the Trios Titles, they can either blame him or learn how to wrestle in a way that makes fans believe in them and not turn off the channel when they appear.  Again, it’s up to them.  Hopefully after Punk’s commentary and Khan’s consent, if they choose to stay they way they are they do so in silence as if untrue stories get planted in the media now it will point to them.  And not for nothing, they should all give up being EVPs and try to go back to being wrestlers than the fans don't tune out when they come on TV. The bloom is off of their rose and the numbers back that up.

I thought your article about the backstage situation in AEW was right on the money and something Tony Khan should really take to heart.  Did you hear from him?

No, I did not.  Maybe he should start listening who doesn’t tell him what he wants to hear because if he did, he wouldn’t have powder kegs explode the way that this one has.  I have talked about this coming for a long time now.  Too many people have praised Tony and ignored the things that he is doing wrong.  If I were him, I would start listening to the people who have a different view on AEW because I won’t ever learn anything from your acolytes.  His company needs him to lead.
