UPDATE ON DREW ISSUES, WHAT'S LOCALLY ADVERTISED FOR RAW, LONG DAY MONDAY FOR SEVERAL TALENTS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson & Paul Jordan on 2022-08-13 20:02:00

The word on Drew McIntyre being pulled from this weekend's live events is that it is a precautionary move in order to allow him to rest ahead of The Clash at the Castle PPV.  We are told that he could have worked the shows this weekend but WWE officials didn't want to take the chance he could exacerbate the issues, so they are erring on the side of caution.

Locally advertised for Monday's Raw is Bobby Lashley vs. The Miz.

Lashley is also slated to wrestle AJ Styles on Monday.  It's going to be a long day for Styles, Rey Mysterio and Doudrop as they will return from their promotional work for WWE in Saudio Arabia that morning and then head right to TV.

Miz will have a meet and greet this Monday at 11 AM at the Cricket Wireless store located at 6025 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22041.  The meet and greet is first come, first serve and will not allow personal items to be signed.

Friday's Wrestlemania Launch Party is now available on the WWE Network and Peacock.

The Los Angeles Daily News featured a piece on the Launch Party at this link.
